    Default Japanese help

Many GPWA members that have been around a while certainly must recognize that we get folks from all over the world.

Often members will not speak English as their native language. This sometimes leads to members possibly using a browser plugin that helps them translate their native language to English before posting.

Recently I have been involved in discussions with some of our Japanese members about this.

Can anyone recommend auto translators that work well and are easy to set up?

I titled this thread using Japanese in the title, though over the years I have had conversations with members that spoke or wrote in other languages, but in recent times many more that speak Japanese have expressed an interest in needing a better solution. So if you happen to have one that was easy to get going with in other languages, it still might be a good solution.

Please no quick google searches and just listing programs, but it would be really helpful of a few folks can recommend plugins or translation methods they personally have experience using.

    I am Japanese.
I use DeePL to communicate with people from English-speaking countries.
I am able to communicate with them without any problems.

I'm a Japanese person living in an English-speaking country. However, since I am using DeePL, I first convert the Japanese text I want to convey into English, then convert the English text back to Japanese again to confirm that the English text has the same meaning before sending it.

Good suggestion, does deepl do a pretty good job on most text conversions?

    hello
I think DeePL is good enough for translation. But it needs high understnding skill for the one who read.
I mean reader must have a lot of vocabraries of that language.
