Lightbulb Join the GPWA on LinkedIn!

The Gambling Portal Webmasters Association has set up a group on LinkedIn. If you use LinkedIn, or want to use LinkedIn, we invite you to join us there!

To join GPWA LinkedIn group just follow the link Join the GPWA on LinkedIn. If you are already a LinkedIn member you can just join the LinkedIn GPWA group and if you are not already a member of LinkedIn you will be given the option to register so you can then join the LinkedIn GPWA group.

If you use LinkedIn there are a couple benefits to joining the LinkedIn GPWA group. First, you can see who the other members of the GPWA group are on LinkedIn, a big help if you want to be able to network with other GPWA members there. Second, you'll be identified as being a member of the GPWA group through the addition of a cute little GPWA icon in the groups and association section of your LinkedIn profile page.

Yet another step in trying to help GPWA members network with one another.

    Tony,

You're approved now. And at this moment there are seven members in the GPWA LinkedIn group - not bad for a couple hours.

Membership in the group on Linked In requires approval, so it may take a day or two after applying to be formally accepted as a member of the LinkedIn GPWA group. If anyone is ever waiting longer than that, or is in a hurry, just send a pm to CityGuard, CityKim, or me.

    Hi Michael

I tried to add to the group, but not sure if i did it correctly. I added you as a contact personally, but if you can send me an invite to the group that would be great!

    Thanks

Claire, as noted by Doolally, the link was in my initial post, but I'm repeating it here without hiding the actual URL of the link: www.linkedin.com/e/gis/49578/5B9FFC40C692. Just click on the link and follow the instructions.

Also, I don't think you were successful in adding me as a contact, but once you have registered for the group, it should be easy for you to request that since you will be able to access my profile since we will both be members of the group.

Great idea Michael would this be for GPWA members only? If so I hope the concept doesn't get poached. A little honesty here!

Another outstanding idea from the GPWA!

Hey, I've learned to consider poaching to be a complement. It's either that or live my life in a fairly constant state of anger. And I'd much rather feel complemented than angry!

But it does mean there is definitely virtue to developing concepts that others can't poach so easily. We're going to do that with social networking in the iGaming industry. What you see us doing now in this area is taking tiny baby steps that anyone could do. But behind the scenes we're doing the legwork so we can follow-up with some really amazing services that I believe will deliver tremendous value to virtually everyone we're working with. And most of those plans won't be able to be poached because their implementation depends on a lot of core competencies we have (and others don't) in order for them to even work in the first place. I do think everyone in the GPWA will be very pleased with where we take things over time.

And boy do I wish I could say more now! I don't think I can, but I am having an awfully hard time containing the excitement I feel about the development work we are doing now.

With out doubt the GPWA pioneered the road for others to travel on. I realize these are my words not yours. But I can only hope the GPWA continues developing this super highway. Man I feel like singing “Amazing Grace”

Looking forward to seeing the new developments!

    Thanks
