Just wondering about something

I would be interested to see other affiliates views about this, and maybe even some casino managers.

Lets say a new player signed up, deposited $50.00 and won $1000.00
The affiliate stats would obviously show a negative commission amount due to the player winning.

Lets then say that for whatever reason the casino does not pay the player his winnings - i.e bonus abuser, identification issues or whatever.

Does the casino then reverse the winnings from the affiliates account? i.e put the account back into the positive.?

The reason I ask the question is that I have seen many instances on my stats at various casinos where there has been a 1st depositor who has won a reasonable amount and never returned again. Whilst I know that this does happen and then it is just our bad luck, but I wonder if many of them have not returned because they never received their money from the casino ( I am referring to legitimate reasons for not paying ) but yet, I have never ever seen a reversal of winnings on any of my stats.

Any thoughts on this?

it depends on the type of fraud.

If the fraud is a deposit that was not received, then the casino lost the money and the win should be reversed on the affiliate stats and the chargeback become the negative.

In the case where someone, say bet too much with a bonus and violated some "gotcha" clause the casino puts in to reduce their risk of losing to a "bonus abuser". Well, there was no win and therefore no loss to the casino, the portion of the original deposit that is no longer in a player's account, should be a profit for the casino and affiliate.

Great question Top Boss and my bet is we'll find these "voided" wins are not reversed and the affiliate pays the price.

This could be one of the reasons. It is more of a hypothetical question about casinos in general, but what prompted my question was that at the beginning of the month I got a new player at One Club Casino ( Rich Clicks )

The player has now simply "vanished" and this got me wondering whether there was a problem of some sort with the player and perhaps he never got paid because he didn't come back. Generally if a player wins and gets paid out - they tend to come back and play more.

It is possible that he simply won, got paid and moved on to another casino, but it would be nice to know....

This is what I tend to believe too, but maybe I am too skeptical..

While CPays was active, I had some good revenue for months from one player, then he won around $60K tilting my account to a minus of around $14K. Then he started losing for 2-3 months and after that he vanished. Then there was the change from CPays to Affiliates United and with that also of their reporting method. I have never been able to find out what actually happened.
