Default Keep getting this same SEO email

I get this email every day now:

We will optimize your site to increase its rankings with major search engines. This will drive targeted online users to your site, as well as attract new users through the use of relevant keywords and phrases. Not only will we help you gain those higher rankings, but maintain your status through continual management and support. Please reply to this email so we can send you more details.

It doesn't even say hello or who it's from.

Does anyone else keep getting this same message?

never .. but i do get a sht ton of spam. 30K a month in my personal email account.

I ended up setting myself up on google's gmail system for my own domain name. And it weeds out a lot of spam.. maybe only 30 gets through out of a 30K - not bad. And for persistant ones like what you have above, I setup rules, so if it has a particular subject, or word.. it just goes straight to trash.

I've tried to unsubscribe myself from "proper" well to do sites, and they just keep spamming me. So they get the auto bin.

I've done the same. Everything comes through to my gmail account. Automated spam is bad enough, but the email I referred to is coming from humans. If they thought about what they were doing they would get much better response and not have to keep sending the email over and over again.

Even if you replied, they don't contact you back. In fact there was a guy that uses my contact form, and I just got fed up so I replied with all right show me what you've got and nothing.

Exactly! I've tried that as well. It doesn't made any sense at all.

My first guess would be a way to collect ACTIVE and MONITORED emails.

It is, one would think they are actually providing some service even if it's scam. But them not replying makes it interesting on understanding, in what way and how they profit from the whole thing.

Ahh ok I see what u mean. I have a guy similar who keeps spamming me with CPA deals that he can offer, but you contact him via email, or send him a Skype request.. he doesn't reply... but then I'll get another email from him next week... like wtf?

Admittedly, I do think he is a scammer, and monitors gpwa, because you get similars CPA emails, but from different email addresses, and names.

Here is another one I get a lot:

We can increase rankings of your website in search engines. Please reply back for more details.

    Nothing more. Just that.

The best is to add that to your spam, and keep adding them to Spam unless they stop coming in your inbox. There is really no way of stopping them as I keep getting from different email ID's all the time and even if you mark them as spam, they would come from some other email ID.
You should actually try to contact them (Reply to email), get their details and report it to search engines and other mail providers.

Problem, is if you ask for them they don't actually send details. They never reply.
