I really should know this, but where is a good place to find how many times a keyword is searched? I have always just used Google Adwords to look this up but thinking there must be a better/easier way.

Also does anyone know of a tool where you can type in a keyword and find other related keywords that are also searched that are similiar (besides adwords). Example, if I wanted to know what keywords are serached that are similiar to "blackjack".

Free is also important!

I use market samuri, it is a big outdated now. The good thing is there is a rank tracker which is useful

Do you use wordtracker? Is it possible to generate results by location? Search query estimates in the US will vastly differ from the UK. Cheers

I've found really good results with ubersuggest.org all the keywords you'll find here you have to check via GA keyword tool, but sometimes finding really awesome and well searched keywords, which google adwords don't display by itself

I Heard about this tool, but haven't really used it yet. Will give it a go, thanks for your comments.

One tool I use quite a lot to find a whole bunch of search terms related to a keyword is http://tools.seochat.com/tools/suggest-tool/ it's helped me to find some absolute gems.

If you are looking for paid tools then you can try Moz's keyword analysis tool or Raven tools research central or keyword eye
Free alternative can be SEO Book keyword tool or WordPot or you may give a try to Bing's keyword research tool and WordStream
