Most of the seminars at the LAC were good and a few were great - Casino Jacks was by far tops.
However, there were a few seminars of just pure salespitches. I know the event organizer doesn´t always know what the speaker is going to say or present, but there is nothing worse then some guys giving a seminar name "How to increase conversions by 500%!" and filling up the room and getting everybody exciting, when in the end, the speaker says, email me and I'll will make you a business proposal.... Hey, wasn't he suppose to share some of his insights and knowledge during the seminar? Wasn't he invited to inform the listener and not make a sales pitch? Did I miss something here?
I have nothing against sales pitches and everyone there should throw in a line a two if you are a speaker. That's fine. But don't waste my time or my fellow affiliates time by promising treasure at the end of the rainbow.
This also happened last year in Amsterdam.
So what can be done?
I think the event organizers should give stricter guidelines on content to avoid situations like this.
