[Tonny]

Hi All,

Just got an e-mail...

Hi,

As a result (12.4 Terms and Conditions) we will be suspending your affiliate account as of the 5^th February. Any commissions owed to you will be processed with January Payments.

If you would like to discuss this decision further please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kind Regards

Thanks for posting, and no mention of continued payments from previous referred traffic? I might scale down Betfair as a precaution.

Unfortunatelly, no chance for further commission. Simply scam!
Btw, it seems to us that they don't want to pay us commission from high profile players. What a shame. It's better to stay away from such bastards. Please also note that Betfair, Betfred and ActiveWins are the same guys...

[Sherlock]

Got the same email now. Totally expected.

[Scampi]

Betfred and ActiveWins are the same guys

Really? I know Betfair and Paddy are the same, I wasn't aware they were connected to Activewins.

The fun never ends with PaddyPower & Betfair They closed my account just a few days ago and today I got this:

The same person (Anthony Elders <Anthony.Elders@paddypowerbetfair.com>) sent 2 e-mails. It looks like their job is a big mess, all out of control and logic. Keep it up!

You gotta laugh if it was not for the fact they are messing with someone's lively hood. If you are going LAC I would suggest camping at their booth.

I haven't had the best experience with Anthony so far. I received an email 2 days asking me to confirm my marketing source(s) to which I replied and was then told I needed to update disclaimers/terms on my website.

After doing so to match some large UK brands promoting their sites I was told that updates were still needed, at which point I asked why some big UK brands hadn't done this. His reply then was to say that I could infact have less in the way of disclaimers, but still required more than these other sites, to which I replied that I was removing their brands until I saw these UK sites doing the same.

As per the email above I will be waiting until February 9th to see if they have done so.

These firms, Sky, Ladbrokes, Paddypower etc are just using the gambling commission crackdown on ridiculous advertising and stupid bonus terms to rob affiliates. Scandalous behaviour. Does the GPWA have anything to say on behalf of it's members? Have Casinocity etc been robbed too? Is this affecting everyone or just the lucky ones.. What's going on if I may ask?

[Sherlock]

What's going on if I may ask?

You summed it up. They steal selectively from the ones, where they feel they have to pay on past players more than on new players.

I was robbed by Skybet as others.
Betfair robbed me shortly after.
Paddy robbed me now.
At Ladbrokes I am held hostage and deliver them traffic, but they will rob me soon.

Nobody gives a ****. We have 10 long threads how Bet365 are stealing, while they literally held the flag and they are the only reason why I think UK is not worse than some of the banana republics I live in. Nobody gives a **** about those *****. That is why they try it.

[Tonny]

My affiliate account has been closed, but they still nagging me with such e-mails! We don't wish to receive this spam anymore. I'm wondering how they can manage their affiliate programme since they completely don't know what's happening around. Poor...

Hello,
Please respond to this mail to Anthony.Elders@paddypowerbetfair.com or your affiliate manager
I am writing to inform all UK partners that our stance has changed slightly with regards to compliance. This is due to meetings we have held with the UK Gambling Commission and the latest CMA documentation that has been released. The CMA document if of interest can be found here: Bit.ly/BETFAIRPARTNERS
We take our compliance very seriously as a company and realise our responsibility to ensure that our marketing messages are clear and not misleading in any way to new or existing customers. We expect the same from our affiliate partners and require all to behave in a compliant and responsible manner.
To ensure that what we promote is misleading we have taken the following decisions
Wherever a bonus is displayed all significant terms for this offer must also be visible. There can no longer be the excuse that the area is too small or that simply including T&Cs Apply is sufficient.
For the avoidance of doubt, I have included all UK bonus offers currently live for Paddy Power and the significant terms required to promote each offer. There can be no debate on whether some can be emitted.
If you genuinely cannot fit the copy into space on site, then please use the below as copy.
Betfair – Sign Up Now
If the significant terms are not present, there can be no reference to a monetary bonus value This change applies to all products and not just Sports.
Enhanced Offers
If you would like to promote our enhanced offers and are currently added to our mailing list exact copy will be sent along with landing pages. You must use our provided creative to promote these offers and you must use the exact copy provided. There again can be no misinterpretation here.
Creative
Please only use creative hosted in either our Dropbox or within Net Refer. We will ensure that this is fully compliant.
We are keen to work with our partners to avoid any confusion so please reach out to your affiliate manager or directly to me to discuss.
Failure to be compliant will result in your account being suspended.

Apart of spam they still try to pay me some random amounts after the program closure. But they keep sending it with wrong data.

Anthony Elders deceased 2 years ago and now they are run by beta version of chatbots.

No wonder he is still sending me emails, but I think he was resurrected for at least one day to suspend my account

[Topboss]

I only discovered my account had been suspended when I tried to login.
Received No email.
Sent them 3 emails asking them why they suspended my account and what they needed me to do to unsuspend it. ( obviously I know why they suspended it, but not prepared to waste any time complying if they can't even respond to my emails or bother to notify me of the suspension in the first place. )
Quite frankly I am so sick of the suspensions and lack of response to my emails that I am just doing a mass removal of many of the old UK brands, and if it means just promoting a handful of casinos that are willing to operate as a true partnership, then so be it.
Sometimes things like this force me to clean up house...which admittedly should have been done years ago!!

[sparks]

Obviously a decision has taken place at Paddy Power Betfair to remove old wood.

Paddy Power suspended my account without sending me any email, I only found out when I tried to login.
Betfair did the same.
Sportsbet Australia (owned by Paddy Power) have done the same but did email me. I have brought in many high value punters over many years to Sportsbet in particular but new customer numbers have reduced recently so they took the opportunity to dump me for "commercial reasons".

Not happy
