    Default Ladbrokes Technical Glitch

    Another interesting article about Ladbrokes:

"a long-standing “technical glitch” in its software for processing online bets may have led customers “to believe that their bets had been accepted, when in fact they had not been placed and no stakes taken”. It also said that “as a gesture of goodwill” it would make payments to a number of its customers whose cancelled bets would have been winners."

Ladbrokes’ claim that no money was taken from customers’ accounts. The Glynn case, for instance, appeared to offer evidence to the contrary, with his account balance apparently reduced from £332.50 to £2.50 following an attempt to submit a £330 bet.
The Ladbrokes skeletons are marching out in droves lately

I love the way they're trying to put a positive spin on a negative situation by offering to pay a handful of small would've-been wins.

A box with customer data outside a betting office on the street, paying people to keep their mouth to UKGC, now this technical glitch...

Not just their affiliate program is a mess it seems.

Their affiliate program is just how they want it - corrupt.

For me I see zero signups for a month and very low revenue.
I was told they still admit revenue is wrong (and will be fixed), but regs should be ok. Both is far from ok.
I can clearly see my affiliate manager #14 is losing his enthusiasm, #15 is around the corner. #15 or #16 will show me the door.

"The firm will now “be individually contacting those impacted customers that did not resubmit their bets, and paying them any winnings due on those bets”.
The statement concluded: “We would like to apologise to those customers that were affected by this issue and reassure them that this technical glitch has now been identified and resolved.”"
