    Default Last minute help needed

    I have just recently built my betting tips site on wordpress. I was looking to launch tomorrow but I cannot seem to add my affiliate links. No matter what I try they are not adding. Should I be copy and pasting the whole link I receive from the betting company? I'm following every tutorial to the tee.

    This is an example link I have

    <!--The Following Invocation Code is HTML-->

    <a href="http://online.ladbrokes.com/promoRedirect?key=ej0xMzg0NjkMiZsPS0xJnA9Njg5NzYz" >
    <img src="http://online.ladbrokes.com/promoLoadDisplay?key=ej0xMzg0NjkMiZsPS0xJnA9Njg5Nz Yz" width="0" height="0"/>
    </a>

    Should I be using all of this or only some of it? Any help would be massively appreciated!!

    I have approved this post as it went into the mod que since it contained links from a new member with a low post count.

    The answer to your question depends partially on whether you are hosting the image yourself or not.

    The a href part is the clickable link the visitor should click on in order to give you credit for the visitor.

    The img src part should show the image if you are allowing ladbrokes to host the image for you.

    You did not state where exactly you are trying to add this code, could you provide us an example? Are you trying to place this in the body of a post or page?

    What "view" are you in when attempting to post this?

    After adding this code are you clicking the update/publish button?

    I think I understand the issue. When you're writing your post or page, click on "text" in the top-right of the editor and then paste the link code. You don't have to include this part "<!--The Following Invocation Code is HTML-->."

    EDIT: The link to the image (after the "img src" part) in your post is just a single white pixel. I'm not sure why you need that? I visited the first link "http://online.ladbrokes.com/promoRedirect?key=ej0xMzg0NjkMiZsPS0xJnA9Njg5NzYz" and I was successfully taken to Ladbrokes. I would try to find out the purpose of that image. Maybe it tracks impressions?

    I did not look closely at the img src part, you are correct, that is a tracking pixel. For those that do not know, those most often will count impressions in the affiliate programs stats.

    I most often do not include the pixel image, as I most often mask the links in a separate go or visit page anyway.
