Lawsuit challenges Caesars' online casino bonus

The Public Health Advocacy Institute (PHAI) has filed a lawsuit in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Brubaker vs Chester Downs and Marina, LLC et al. - Case ID: 250602325) against Caesars, alleging their online casino bonus is "dangerous, misleading, and illegal."

According to PHAI, the promotion, which suggests a $2,500 deposit match, actually demands $375,000 in bets within the first week before any payout. The lawsuit claims this makes the bonus "unattainable and therefore impossible to win," effectively designed to trap new customers in a "wild chase of action."

Under the leadership of Executive Director Mark Gottlieb, PHAI continues to spearhead the burgeoning movement to bring comprehensive public health change to the threat posed by the gambling industry and its partners across the United States.

Gottlieb said: "We know the gambling industry, with the assistance of the American Gaming Association (AGA) and the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), is aggressively attempting to push the legalization of online casino gambling across the United States. Thus far, the seven states with online casino gambling seem ill-prepared or unwilling to regulate the wild tactics of the industry. This promotion, engineered by Caesars, is among the most egregious we have seen to date."

A week time limit?

Yea that seems excessive clearly and wonder if it will lead to bonus amendments at the very least.

Quick look, is it really 75 times bonus plus deposit? And those that might have approved such would look at an offshore and say, "wow that 25 times or 35 times is out of line".

And even if they drop the time limit, seems like completely off anyway.
