Our biosecurity is very strict. One small thing could wipe out our entire farm life which we depend on. So I'm not surprised at all by this.
I once bought back some hungarian salami from London that an affiliate bought for me from Hungary. I wanted to give it to my dad because it had been years since he had been home (to Hungary) and when I came in, even though it was shrink wrapped/sealed, they confiscated it from me because of mad cow disease. I was devo. There are so many things you can't have.
On the other hand in 2008 I went to Canada and while I was sitting on my friend's driveway a spider crawled out of my handbag. If they discover an Australian spider species in Canada, I'm probably responsible.
BAHAHAHAH very good.
