    Default Link Building?

    Hey Everyone,

I know link building is one of the most imporatant aspects of SEO, and getting listed in a decent position. I was just wondering what programs (if you do) you use to do your link building? If any of you would be able to recommend any programs to use, this would be awesome.

    Thanks,

    ProducerK,
I wouldn't use an automated program or link farm. Here's what I recommend:
    (1) Write content for casino portal peers.
    (2) Forum posting
    (3) Article submissions (free) Start Here: http://www.exchange-articles.com/pub...ur-article.php
    (4) Directory submissions (paid and free) Here's a list: http://www.exchange-articles.com/Fre...ition-list.php
    (5) Social Bookmarking ( I haven't done this and don't really know where to start)
    (6) Non-reciprical link exchange. Some argue that direct link exchange is dead. I agree. I also think that link exchanges outside the gambling themes have less "value".

I just wanted to add. When you do article submissions be very careful who you use as many of them are now either affiliates themselves or have been bought out by many companies in terms of advertising.

I have noticed with the last few articles I have submitted that any keyword that could be picked up when submitted the artcile had links to Full Tilt or party poker. So I went in and stuck a period inbetween these words toscrew up the the auto link. The bugger than used other keywords.

You dont want to spend the time writing a quality article only to have people see all these links and go to the actual room itself.

I agree with you Wager that linking outside is less valuable and in all likely hood will be considered of no value to google. I disagree with link exchanges. I have seen some value and increase in SERP's when I have been able to obtian an authority link through exchnage. Even though we did reciprocate I still climbed the serps for that term.

Software I think can be used as long as it is semi automatic...meaning it will pre fill the info for you that's all. This can save you an immense amount of time. You still have to find the directory (usually inyour list) and you still need to enter the capche codes. So I don't think it is of no use. As long as you appear to be human and by being able to submit just liek someone who uses nothing I think its' alright. Almost all of my links have been accepted. I wouldn't use one that does a full submission.

Social Bookmarking is great in terms of getting a few backlinks to much need URL's that are say new and you don't want to have them fall into the supp's. From my understanding of the contradictory info out there about google. New URl's have a a time frame as to how many links they obtain and if this is below what it needs to be the pages will go to the supllementals. Which can be harder to pull them out. Could be wrong lie I said there is so much out there that you don't always know if what you are reading is right

Depending on what you write about and if you can make something viral SBM's can generate good traffic, but traffic has to be maintained meaning you need to keep up your ideas, cause eventually the traffic will die. I don't use it for this purpose I use it for those extra links especially for my internals.

Also just to add when you go in search of your link building do not ad to many to soon, and make sure you mix up your keywords so it look slike natural links.

All of these tips have been given to me through various people I have met over the last year who have made it and have helped me learn how to climb the serp's.

If you need any help with Social Bookmarking I do offer a service but I am also willing to help you out with any questions you may have for advice.

    Cheer!

Here is a list of some of the Social Bookmark sites...I tried to deactivate the links but failed. Open your accounts save in special SBM folder than you will wiz through this in no time. Precautionary warning if you try and open multiple accounts to help boost your posts, they will ban your account.

I think it's the reverse. Here is why. I don't think you will see a whole lot of traffic coming from social boomarking unless you have done something that is just explosive........but if you find social bookmarking that allows for anchor text within the content or title without any no follows than you now have a backlink. I have a couple of direct backlinks from netscape...yes I do see some traffic but nothing compared to other marketing I have done. Still google has recgonized this as a backlink and each one that is related to your topic counts.
