Although some of have decided not to link to the site in question, please understand that all Webmasters are free to make their own decisions about the link terms on their own websites.

I had only requested that if my terms could be met, that I was in fact interested in the exchange, and still may later choose to do so following the webmasters guidelines.

It's his site, so he decides what the terms are. When people link to me, I expect them to follow my terms.

We ask that you not be so quick to flame another webmaster for dictating terms you may not agree to. If you choose not to link to the site in question, so be it. If you have a question about their terms, ask in a calm way trying not to flame the other webmaster. Also, you can always ask more detailed questions by pm (private message) as well.
