Default Player-to-Player Transfer for Casinos -- Why Not??

I've been wondering (and asking!!) for quite a while why poker rooms allow players to transfer credits, while casinos do not???

What is the reason why casinos can't allow players to transfer credits to another player?

Wlhen Neteller was active, I could give away credits when I wanted, but that is no longer an option. So why can't casinos pick up the slack here and work something out the way poker rooms have? It can't be a tech question, since obviously the technology is readily available.

So, which software is going to step up and fill in here. It would be an excellent promtion tool, and sure to increase exposure and sales!!

    Hi all (Liz)

my guess is the money laundering aspect.

while I'm on your side of the fence ... I'm just guessing that's the excuse.

I too .... would like to be able to transfer money.

but keep this in mind ... it may work to our advantage to transfer money thru 3rd party services since say you give a tester money to see if their play shows up ...... its certain to show up if its transfered via the casinos where as if its done thru an ewallet ....... you get a better chance of seeing whether you get credit for the player spending the money .... if that makes any sense.

Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

What happens if Player A deposits $300 and then transfers it to player B. Player B cashes out half of that amount. Player A later does a chargeback. Who is held responsible for the lost money, player A or B.

    Just something to think about

And yet, poker rooms do allow this, and deal with the problems.

To answer the question tho, the player making the deposit is responsible, just as they would be if they themselves were the one making the withdrawal.

Steve, I'm not saying anyone has to transfer through a casino, simply that it would be a nice option, for giving credits to a friend, for instance to try out a casino.

I am just going to throw this out there.... but it may be because of wagering requirements for casino games, especially when people claim bonues and such. Although I think that the person who deposits should be responsible for themselves, people could work on teams and bonus hunting would become even more of a "business" for some people.

That is just my two cents.....

Again, poker rooms offer bonuses as well. You couldn't transfer bonus money anyway, unless it was earned and eligible for withdrawal.

I'm trying to understand what the difference is that casinos can't do this, when virtually all financial transactions are handled the same way, through the same processes, and processors.

    Hi again all (Liz)

curiously .... there are some places that have sports, casino ... and poker. i cannot say whether they allow transfer in any of the above ... but I would note that if the poker section of such a place ..... allows player to player ... then I don't see how they couldn't allow it in the other sections.

I know party poker used to let player to player. .. didn't they have or add casino games later on (I'd long since dumped them for other dubious reasons but just making a point here) .... I wonder how player to player worked in that scenario?

I cant see in that scenario why it would be any different in the casinos, it is the same thing you are doing gambling money.
