Most affiliate programs worth promoting do NOT want their brands advertised nor linked from porn properties.
Plus, although you may think the traffic is good or qualified, the traffic that is currently browsing porn properties, usually have something totally other than gambling on their.....minds.....
Years ago I had a friend that had a handful of decent porn domains he was letting go and I actually redirected a few of them to a few of my sites and the results were really poor even though there were very high traffic numbers in the beginning.
There are probably a number of other members here that can attest to the fact that porn traffic does not convert well.
Also, as a general standard here at the GPWA, we do not allow members to mix porn and gambling on the same sites and this is also against the terms and conditions of many affiliate programs.

The whole business model there is flawed, offering something for free, while hoping someone is gonna bring out their cc and buy the same thing but at higher quality. It will just never gonna happen, not to mention the demographics, age etc etc. There are probably a number of other members here that can attest to the fact that porn traffic does not convert well.
About the link, anything that's not niche related will more or less have a negative impact. I do not know what a "legit porn website" is, im guessing it's not one of those that breaks copyrights? Imma try not to sound vulgar, but I just cant picture someone who has went there for a specific reason to "please" themselves, at some point deciding it's time to register and place some bets![]()

hey guys, thanks for answering, i am pretty new around here,
i actually don't have any betting sites yet, but i do know how the adult
industry works and how to drive traffic there, and it is a lot of traffic...
so i indeed don't see any other sites doing it and from the answers here i can understand why.
but still, 150K daily / 4.5 million a month is pretty big amount of juice (and this is for a small site).
i was thinking about this structure:
adult site not linking directly to the betting site,
but sending traffic to a connection page or to my affiliate
site and from there to the actual site where there betting happens...
links will be with nofollow from my adult site and with a bit.ly shortened +
"NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW" for the specific site/page i am sending the links to.
so there is no direct contact between the two. (adult site->betting site)
what would you do if you had this kind of traffic under your hood?
again, i am asking and hearing your opinion.
Thanks guys.

I 100% agree with Rick here .. although there is a lot of traffic that can be obtianed this way . I believe it Muddies the water very Much for us we wont go that route as we dont want to have that association

You sound pretty, predetermined so might as well give it a go and see how many programs ban you and how many wont. You can share your results afterwards, but you are not the first that has thought about this and from what I read from previous testers, the only thing you get is pretty looking numbers of non-targeting, non-registering, non-depositing traffic. Good luck tell us how it goes if you decide to try it.
I don't see much benefit from porn site links. Porn traffic doesn't convert, and the links would probably get the site penalized somehow.
I personally dont think its a good idea to promote gambling products on porn sites, conversion must be worst.
Bad idea.
Plus, a guy who gambles while watching porn is a superhero... lol
How this idea come into your mind that to link on any non thematic sites would help you to rank..
I am 100% sure search engine will penalize your website after times if you are linking from unrelated niche.
I think it's a bad idea. You want to compartmentalize each industry you're promoting so that they each have backlinks that are relevant to what your sites are promoting - and that will help your rankings.
Porn and gambling do not mix, it has been proven over and over for many many years.
Google treats them as different industries and different niches also, thus cross linking can hurt as many have said.

hey Gabba.
the idea behind the linking is not SEO related, it is purely for sending traffic.
the "no index" robot thing + no-follow on the link itself is to take all security measures and misunderstanding + i am not sending directly to the betting site i am sending to a page with all the links to the betting site.
i think that waiting for google to index you in this industry is a waist of time,
it will take ages to get a good position (if ever) in any niche so buying traffic or using any kind of
way you can get traffic is always welcome, specially if you are talking on a brand new site.
I understand:
- it is a ****** traffic
- it is not a niche related
- it is not converting
- it is bad for seo
i know all those stuff
But, i know that big numbers can statistically bring something to the table,
what would you do if you had 4.5 million a month, would you ignore it?
i need 5% of this traffic to ignite my brand.
For a Brand new, or penalized site it makes sense.. if you crunch the numbers and there is no SEO gain then why not? I would definatley use it.. the pirate video sites do the same and have done for a while.. just find some of those 1st cookie reward type programs and you should be good.. There are plenty of not so clean betting sites who will happy take that traffic "bet365?"
