Links exchange. What is catch ? ...

[sergei]

On my site I have regular "add link" form (http://www.casinoratingcenter.com/links/addlink.html), but I see people prefer send me email and invite me to their "add link" form then subscribe from my site. Almost all of guys who suggest me link exchange have visited my site and ask me to subscribe from their form. What is catch ?
I thought no difference - from where to subscibe ... Maybe something is wrong with my add link page ? Thank you.

I *just* wrote this earlier today in the thread currently below this one.

"- Unfortunately, when you're a new webmaster the initiative for exchanging links must be yours; it's just part of "paying your dues" as a newbie webmaster. Those of us who have been up for a while have all "been there, done that" when it comes to going out and getting links. You should probably spend a day a week just going from site to site to add your link to their auto systems, then adding their link to your pages."

I get the same mails, but delete them.
If they take the time to visit my site and send an e-mail with details etc, then it would be just as quick to fill out the link in the autolink manager

I get them, too, but I don't usually delete them (unless they're obnoxious for some reason).

I send a "You can auto-add your link blahblahblah..." response.

SlyCin56, just reciprocate the link I submitted to you today and I will be VERY happy

 Thru my links manager? I'll be in there later today or tomorrow to take care of all my accounts.
