Load time at my new site
Greetings from CR,
I was very much hoping I could get some feed back on how fast my NEW site loads.
http://www.livecasinodirectory.co.uk
I have a lot of images but I am on a Dedicated Server at Godaddy.
Thanks in advance
Live
PS any comments on structure, script etc... appreciated as well.

Loaded fine for me. Only comment I have is that the images seem a bit 'stretched', other than that, a good site.

grem,
I have absolutely no idea what you and arthurm are refering to "stretched images". I have a great affinity for images. I would never post'em stretched. Which images.. home page... where... My gosh!!!

Loads pretty fast..
There seem to be some problems with the layout though, mostly the menu. Work on adding z-index to solve this problem. The 2nd menu mostly. I get black text over the red text in the first 2 menu items.
And about the images, they don't seem stretched to me, more like cut off, I mean the ones in the review tab on the right. Like you used just a small part of the image itself, instead of resizing it first.
Good luck with your site!

It's the w3-super-cache Gabriel,
I am not sure if Goddady has installed my mod_pagespeed and the mod.gzip yet. I don't think so. If not, then it is gona be really fast. I can't wait. You don't know how I have been plagued with slow sites in the past.
So I am trying out signatures... This is a big one.

OK so Just so you guys/girls know... The mod_pagesped is now installed and Godaddy says that the Apaches are not designed for the mod_gzip but the mod_deflate is by default already installed. Right after the mod_pagespeep installation the site was like 20 times slower... it was timing out. But with a reboot it came in very very fast. The compression is now working in the wp-super-cache as well. So it is a good Saturday morning.
Thanks for all the help you guys... Gabriel and grem especially
