1. If people from UK do not understand that licences are death of affiliate industry... well ok.
2. I guess everyone has met bureaucracy and got mad from it. But you did not meet a brazilian bureaucracy. I did. It is on completely different level then elsewhere. It is not just combination of high wages, corruption, total incompetence and lack of interest. Even the corruption does not work in Brazil from my experience. It is just a surreal carnaval where everything get lost and remains just samba from bad reproductor and sex on beach with a transgender individual.

I am not sure what you mean by that.

Affiliate marketing should be in theory about not knowing the right people. It should be about delivering traffic and getting paid. I can not imagine that model working in Brazil in the past and in future even less. In brazil is problem everything. Brazil is very different Latin America (for example you will nobody make happy with "amigo", you can use "irmao", but only in some parts).

As about knowing the right people, that is what I said in the last post. Even that does not work there unlike in other latam countries. Brazil is a pure chaos that somewhat can hide it. I know pretty well some other LATAM countries and Brazil is very special in doing business. E.g. LATAM experience is useless in Brazil and that is what I got confirmed even from other people.

I am even nearly sure that one reputable affiliate program, that has a latam branch, is stealing from me (but also from the parent program without them believing it). It is 2 years since truly unbelieveable numbers (not just minuses, but combination with deposits and other factors) just started to show day by day.

So again: I am living in Brazil for 12 years and with high level of confidence I can say that even " if don't know the right people " is not a valid statement in Brazil (while perfectly valid in other parts of Latin America, but also in other parts of the world). Sometimes I wish to a have longer life and think that I wanted to live in tropical Africa, just to know whether things are similar. Whether those neighboring "countries" in Pangaea have the same feeling.

Meanwhile I became a mild racist. Mild because I do not want anyone to exterminate, but I believe (after not having a prejudices before) based on my experience, that deep in DNA exist changes that are difficult to change, unless the surrounding culture is really hard. The people who colonised Brazil are different to the Spanish part of Latam. Very interesting book is C.L. Strauss - Sad Tropics. Nearly 100 years old experience, still actual, where I liked the passage where the new German colonists in Brazil who wanted to colonise Indians, were rather colonised by the Indians.

Both of my parents had businesses in South America and they had to know friends or friend of friends to get things done with any developments
they had to do for their business. This is what I say about knowing the right people. I will check on the book.
