About LinkBacksCan anyone out there recommend a decent but relatively inexpensive (doesn't have to be super cheap though) web host with servers in Canada?
It's for a Canadian version of my UK B&M/online casino site which needs ioncube loaders and zend optimizers to be enabled in order for it to work and can't be stingy on the resources.
Any suggestions?

I have used iweb.com for 8 years for my dedicated servers ,fairly decent company.

Just had a quick look and seems like they mainly run dedicated servers - I only have one Canadian site planned so that might be a bit ott

CanadianWebHosting.com worked for me just fine until I got my own servers. Very fast tech support too

I use site5 and I am very happy with them but it's good to ask them is it ok for target country - they have ip from all over the world. The server is in USA but the IP could be from London, Amsterdam, Montreal, Toronto, either Indonesia and some exotic countries. I am glad to work with their support - they help really.

I am intrigued by servers sitting in the United States, on a US based IP address that answer on a UK IP.
This can only take place through (RE-Routing and/or RE-Provisioning) and I wonder how the backbone providers feel about this. IP blocks are provisioned geographically for specific reasons.
I also wonder how it affects latency, since unless the entire Class has been reprovisioned to go to a us server, the traffic for specific ips would have to be forwarded, and quite easily might have to go around the world twice.
Interesting and if anyone has discussed this with them, drop me a line.

From their website it looks like they just have multiple servers in the various locations.
