Lou will be missed by this industry. He accomplished a lot for all affiliates with various programs by going to bat for us 'little guys' at CAP, helped many (including myself) get started in the industry, and gave everything and more to CAP and the events. He really did a lot of good for all of us, if we just look back and remember...

My heart was torn from me a few moments ago when I found out that Lou has passed away. It seemed like a bad dream as he was one of my closest allies in the gaming world as well as one of the very first guys I got to know ten years ago.

I know he has suffered some medical conditions in the past but after chatting with him only a few weeks back I assumed it was nothing too serious. How wrong I was.

Lou you will be missed by everyone here and especially me. For me you were a guardian that led me through the gaming sector. I just hope you continue to do this for me although now only in spirit.

My thoughts are with his loving wife at this time who stood by him no matter what and was always welcoming to me.

I know many on here had mixed feelings about Lou, but I've always chosen to think of him as a guy who went out of his way to help new affiliates. He always gave me great advice when I was starting out and I'm very saddened by his Passing. My condolences go out to Marie and his family.

I pray Lou can see this out pouring of love and respect he is receiving here, and it puts a smile on his big ole face. I think the last couple of years were much harder on him then many realize and its a shame and so sad that he had to watch his home [CAP] go on with out him.

Lou was so passionate towards what he cared about--nothing more so than his family. While I know it's going to be so difficult for Marie, Lou's children and extended family, my greatest hope is that they find peace in Lou's passing...and that Lou has found peace for himself.
