I couldn't tell who it was from the pic either until you mentioned Spartacus (awesome show), she plays Ilithyia, I had no idea she was Australian though!

Seems like heaps of Aussies in that series, Crixus, and of course both of the guys that played Spartacus.

I don't know what it is that makes our accent so appealing to people that don't have it.
Last time I went to the states I was the only aussie and every time I spoke I wanted to stop talking because I hated the sound of my accent. I sounded like Olivia Newton John in Greece. Like a real bogan.
I don't think the Aussie accent is sexy at all..

Now give me a Saffa accent any day.. Oh la la
