Angry MainStreet advertiser - don’t pay!

We are LGaming - affiliate network, and currently, the advertiser MainStreet owes us $43,574.82. We want to highlight this case and get paid.

    Start working with MainStreet

In March 2024, we started working with MainStreet —a holding company with experience dating back to 1999. The terms of the deal were as follows:

    GEO: USA
    Traffic Source: FB/App, ASO
CPA Rate: $220 (reduced to $200 in April by mutual agreement)

We delivered traffic throughout March, April, and May, receiving additional caps from the advertiser. The advertiser paid for the traffic delivered in March and April. However, for May, only a partial payment was made.

    Timeline

    May 2024:

For May, the advertiser provided a cap of 250–300 FTD with the comment:
“Overall traffic is good for now, it is too early to make any other comment. But we are happy to continue traffic.”

By May 20, we had sent 238 FTD, and the advertiser requested an additional 40–50 FTD.

    May 30th:

The advertiser asked us to pause the traffic, stating that it would resume in June.

    The Payment Issue

We did not receive the payment for May. Over the following months, we reached out repeatedly via email, Skype, and to the finance department, but the payment was not made. We were continuously asked to wait.

    August 9, 2024:

A manager contacted us, and we received a partial payment of $24,900.

    January 2025:

Six months later, we are still waiting for the remaining $43,574.82. No one from the company is responding to us, and we want to get paid.

We are showing this case so that other affiliates do not find themselves in the same situation and are aware of MainStreet advertisers who do not pay full commission to their partners.

I dont want judge your business model - but if i read traffic source "FB and ASO", combined with the "CPA", i'm out and i know actually the full story.

A greedy operator (who went from a very early payer to one who pays later and later), just saw a 300 FTD business without knowing very much about player value from those sources. Its not your fold but you should know. I would bet 95% of the players deposited the baseline and never showed up again.

We work with dozens of other advertisers, also sending US traffic, with the same traffic sources and we have no issues with payment or player value.

In the current case study, the most important thing is that the advertiser saw the value of the players as we had already completed the test and MainStreet requested more traffic and guaranteed full payment. In this case, we believe they have an obligation to keep their word and pay.

I have worked with Mainstreet since 2006 on revenue share , they use to pay on first of the month but now seems they pay very last day of the month. Sorry to hear things are not working out .

Jepp, then i would stay with the other dozens of advertisers.
Btw, why the hell did you take the risk to switch the client if the others paying?!
And, on top, switched to such old school nonsense brands like the Mainstreet one?!
The stats showing it (IMO) very clear. There is almost no progress in retention from 04 to 05

Which ofc does not answer your LEGIT question why they asked for more ...

Been with them for years and they always pay, why don't you just go revshare?

The OP doesn't go to revshare because the player value is low and the OP knows it.

It looks like the 327 players deposited a total of $24,291 - or approx $74 each.
And the OP is receiving $220 CPA per player.

Factor in payment costs, and some withdrawals and values is $20-40.
Accordingly, rev-share is likely to be under $20 per player.

I'm not going to get into whether there are player enticements to join and deposit - that's unknown.
This may be a totally above board campaign - but the traffic is clearly not worth $220, $120, or even $50 CPA to the casino.

But with numbers like this showing such a large difference between realised value and payment value this deal is dead.

Should the casino program pay out ? Possibly - depending on any contract clauses on actual value.
Will the casino program pay out ? Unlikely at $220 CPA. Maybe at rev-share.

If the OP can get $220 CPAs for players that deposit $70 for other sources - then they should share the other sources.
I'd like some of that action too !!

Same here, casinobonusguy, I've never had any issues with Mainstreet Affiliates, although they now make payment on the last day of any given month. The AM and Financial Manager are always very responsive.

We continue to work with other advertisers and the volume we sent to Mainstreet is a small percentage of the total volume.

We have a lot of traffic and we are always looking for new advertisers with good budgets.

You're trying to judge the value of players based on screenshots taken in May, when we had just finished ad campaign.

After so many months since May, it's obvious that players have continued to play and bring money into the casino.

We would like to see what the picture looks like now, except that this data is not in the personal cabinet, but the advertiser is ignoring us.

You see MainStreet promising to pay and asking you to keep supplying them with traffic, but then they just don't pay.

So where is the guarantee that the same thing won't happen to you one day?
