    Default Mainstreet Affiliate Program Upgrade

    Hi,

We are happy to announce an upgrade on our affiliate facing reporting suite. Though it’s not complete will all the bells and whistles we initially wanted, it is a first step to achieve those features. Once this release is launched it will allow us to be more flexible with adding new features going forward.

Our planned release date is Monday Nov 22, 2010. We will begin the rollout at approximately 11 PM EST.

    Important First Step:

When you first login, you will be directed to your Profile Page to update your account information. A newly added feature here is the addition of a security question and answer. You will need to complete these and it will be used in future in case you forget your password.

This is also a good time to complete any missing information that may need completing form you account details. Please note all required filed are marked with an asterisk (*).

    Some Key Features:
    - Enhanced reporting capabilities – More reports to analyze your conversions.
    - Tiered Earnings – More detailed reports.
    - Increased Payment Method Selection – Choose your preferred method!
    - Enhanced Marketing Tools Section – More promotional tools!

We realize that sometimes it takes a bit of time to adapt to change and to learn the new functionalities and navigation.

If you ever have any questions at any time, please feel free to contact me.

    Your Partner,
    Jason Carter

Well looks better, but the pop-up windows are a bit annoying...

another thing I noticed (but I mite be wrong, hope not) are the stats...
My question about this is are the earning being well calculated?

Yeah the pop ups are annoying. I asked for the reports to refresh in the same window but RTG felt it was more convenient to have a few windows open to compare stats.

I personally dont like it and think its a bit of a problem/hassle because stats are all over the place. You have to have a few reports open to get an over all consensus of how you are doing with relevant stats(clicks, dloads, signups, depositors netwin and your revenue).

So one report that I have requested is to have all this together on one convenient report (kind of like what we had in our previous version). This will come in due time.

As far as the earnings go, there may be a bug that is causing the decimal place to be moved. Having RTG look into this now and will report back asap.

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hi,

The issue with the display of decimals has now been fixed. I apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused, and thanks for bringing this to my attention.

    Regards,

    Jason,

If you guys ever decide to move the decimel point the other way a few points on any affiliates, I will once again fall on the GPWA sword and offer up my account for such purposes....

Haven't been able to login to the website since the 22nd. Have tried Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Explorer with no luck. StatsRemote has also not been able to connect. Is MainStreet still reachable from the US?

    Hi webber,

Yes there are some issues right now with some affiliates being unable to login. Ive had a ticket logged with RTG to have this rectified but so far as you can see it hasnt been fixed. I apologize for the delay on this. It should be fixed soon.

Some days I can login and most days I can't. Neil at stats remote said he thinks it's a DNS issue as sometimes it redirects him to the old AffiliateGlobal stats. Hope it gets fixed soon.

I can't even get the main site to load, let alone try to login!

    Something is definately messed up.

Not being technically inclined, I CAN offer the following clues!

I CANNOT login or get the site from my main desktop which is a cabled connection.

I CAN login from my laptop which runs thru a wireless router.

Just a guess, but I believe the wireless router generates a different IP address from the directly connected cable hook up.

If that's the case, then I think Big Daddy is correct.

I'm sure it's all good with the upgrades, but there are definately some problems for some of us. Glad it's all good for you.

Hope the issues are resolved soon!

    Hi guys,

Sorry for the delays but had to enjoy my holidays! Hope you all did too.

I find it so strange that there are such unique problems and only happening to certain affiliates. Really had to pin point when its like that. However, let me look into it and I will let you all know.

TheCPA - can you get www.mainstreetaffiliates.com to load now? Also try typing in and not accessing from a bookmark or some other kind of shortcut.

    Regards,

    Jason

This what I get from my desktop. Some of the casinos weren't loading the other day either from my desktop.Seem to be a DNS or blocked IP issue to me, but like I said, I'm no techy! lol
Now today, (just tried}, I can't get it to come up on my laptop either. A couple of days ago, I could.

Strange to be sure. Maybe they have Florida IPs' blocked or something??

Jason, it seems this might have started back when the site was under attack. Seems I remember something there. Maybe they saw some of it coming from Florida, and blocked the IP's, but forgot to remove them when the attack subsided?

    Again, just grabbing for straws.

I think Big Daddy is also in Florida.

If so, we would both probably be using Brighthouse/Road Runner.
