    Default Matched Betting Affiliate

    Hi Guys,

New around here, however I have long been creating/running websites. My new website is about matched betting, giving tips etc so hopefully it's a bit more niche and less generic than others. It's aimed at the UK and European market.

My site is still a work in progress but is getting some decent organic traffic and interest from some mailing lists. What do you guys think of it: matchedbetting.review is the site.

What ways do you market your gambling sites?

When you say giving tips, do you mean sports betting tips?

I'm really new too, but I'm looking to market my site by ranking for keywords. I'm also researching how I can use social media to draw traffic.

I'm not sure if your familiar with the term 'matched betting', but if not - it's about how you can extract the signup bonuses from bookmakers in to your own pocket by laying them off in betting exchanges like 'bet fair'. It's a different approach to my other gambling sites I've done in the past and more focus on something rather than just links to affiliates. Matched Betting actually should work well because most people want to loose to the bookmakers and extract their money to the betting exchanges. The hardest part is explaining matched betting to my readers.

I've tried Facebook, but not had much look with PPC on it - I may try a video instead

So it's kind of similar to arbing, but to clear bonuses? I Googled the term, but I didn't spend too much time reading about it.

When you said giving tips, I was asking if you were going to be posting betting tips for games, because if you actually post winners, you may not make much money because a lot of your players will have a positive revenue, lol.

I checked your site out, and it looks nice. When I try to click on the links on the right-hand site (the sites with the star ratings), they don't load unless I right-click and open the link in a new tab or window.

On a side note, I wish I lived outside of the US, so I could take advantage of all the sportsbook bonuses available, lol.

Thanks for the advice, I'll check out some of them issues you mentioned.

It's not like arbing, but your taking advantage of the 'free bet' the bookmakers give us so if you take a free bonus of £200, place it on a football team to win, then place the opposite on bet fair against the team to win. Hopefully it wins on exchange and you should profit close to the free bonus.

Haha yes, a lot of US folk say the same

Hello and welcome to the forum. The best way to market is to regularly add quality content, and link build.

What's the best way to link build? I've seen ads on Fiveerr where you can guest post on high-ranking gambling blogs, but I've also read that's frowned upon by Google? In general, I've seen a lot of contradicting information regarding the best way to build links. I also have a hard time believing a lot of what I read because I know that "making money online/SEO" is one of the biggest money-making niches around, and it seems every site that tells me the best way to build links wants me to join it's mailing list or buy something.

ETA: When you say quality content, how much focus do you put on SEO? If you sit down to write an article that you feel provides value, how much time is spend on researching keywords you can rank for, organizing the article to help your article rank higher, etc.? I'm asking because providing quality content is great, but if people don't see it, then it doesn't help us make money. So, it seems that SEO is a huge part of the article creation process, right?

How are you planning on monitising it?

If you're looking to give players an edge then a rev share deal will have you earning nothing as the accounts will likely be negative. Unless of course the traffic you get goes beyond just claiming the bonus and continues to play/bet.

I'd be very surprised if any bookie would give you a CPA or fixed fee deal knowing the origin of the traffic.
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.

Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding on Dan - see the list here. Prices negotiable, and willing to swap for decent links.

My traffic want to loose to the bookmakers (they don't want to turn over the wagering requirements to withdraw their winnings, it's easier to loose to the exchange and withdraw their cash), but will win at the betting exchanges. I am on CPA for most of the bookmakers and rev share on the betting exchanges. The customers actually return to the bookmakers to do promotions, but the majority of the time they use the bookmakers for 'mug bets' regardless
