Reputation Management (Post - Penguin 2.0)

I've been working on a campaign for a couple months where a licensed, trademarked branded term was getting slammed in 4 out of 10 top 10 results on all the search engines.

They tried boosting social media, youtube and the other 40+ platforms to no avail.

It took two months and work equivalent to around 200 people at 40hpw but everything was pushed and they dominate top 10 for brand.

These "negative targets" weren't small peanuts either.

So although I normally share this information freely here on GPWA, I don't thin I will this time.

But if you are a member of GPWA (and no noobies w/o MC's ok), feel free to email or PM me for this information and a very successful strategy.

This works especially well for Affiliate sites after Penguin 2.0. It will take a lot of additional work on your end.

In 8 weeks we were able to purge some pretty serious players out of the top ten for a brand term...a top brand that you would know instantly if I said it.

And if I'm thinking right, back to my Affiliate days, this is something I would give a nut for. Left or Right.

Drop me a line and if I know you, or someone you know knows someone that knows someone else we know, or you are a distant cousin fifth removed (that would be someone I've met at a conference - but don't expect me to remember), I'll look at your issue and see if what we unseeded would help you or one of your clients.

I expect there are a few more than I have already chatted with in this situation. It may take me a week but I will promise to check it out and get back.

EDIT - My math says this cost me well over 100 grand so bring the REAL problems, not the "I lost a few spots" stuff. Later though

I am actually the fifth or sixth cousing three times removed from a few people here, but damn thing is they ALL deny it.
