Browser Font

A dumb question maybe, but how do you change the font your browser uses? I am using Chrome and all of the sudden my font is messed up and it is hard to see some words. The size is OK it is just the font it is using all of the sudden. I must have changed it by accident somehow and now I cant figure out how to change it back.

1/ Get into your settings using the box on the right nd side that looks like three horizontal lines.

2/ Once you have the settings dialog box up go to the search settings box on the right hand side and type in font.

3/ Now you can adjust default fonts and sizes.

If you have just did your updates, your machine "might" be suffering this. The simple way to tell is to remove the specified update, reboot and look again.

As I stated in that thread, I have successfully removed the update and did not experience any issues doing so (even on servers).

I totally bet that is what happened! Like that post says, it is more the smoothing and not really the font itself. How do you reverse the update?

By the way, what version of OS do you run as I am trying to keep a mental track of what this has affected so far.

Yes it worked - everything looks back to normal! I am running Vista. The worse part was my text editor. I could barely read the code and messed with the font, font size, font family - I was going crazy! Now it is back to normal and looks like it has for the last 5 years which makes me very happy! Webpages also look back to normal.

How do you make the update not run again. When I turned my PC off yesterday and restarted it this morning that update ran again so the font is all messed up again. Is there a way to make the update not run?

Go into updates snap in and right click on that update and tell it to hide the update.
