    Default Mercury for WordPress

Since paying a decent amount for my current website, i decided to use the Mercury theme for wordpress following a handfull of recommendations. The layout looks good but im finding it hard to edit and include my own affiliation link..
Any tips would be greatly appreciated..

I have not personally used the mercury theme but have looked at it as I have a few friends and clients that are using it.

There are a number of ways to add your affiliate links, whether manually in the html or by using one of the many plugins available,

Have a search here at the GPWA as the plugin or html methods have been discussed quite frequently, so some of the feedback may be helpful, and I am sure a few recommendations will follow here as well.

Many thanks for your reply. I have the ACES plugin which comes with Mercury. I'm not sure if somethings maybe missing off mine. All examples just seem so different to what i'm seeing.

From my experience I would not use it. I came across far too many issues. Too many to list. It's far easier to achieve something better using a site builder like siteorigin.

Mercury theme looks good. Anybody tried mercury and pokatheme to give us a comparison which one is better to use?

I'm wishing i did a little more research before purchasing the Mercury theme now
The Aces plugin is far from user friendly. It seams the Pokatheme theme seems to be the most popular choice with most on here.. The banner uploads look to be far more straight forward

Anybody on here had experience with both and agree on this ??

I am evaluating poka theme now, and a developer friend of mine let me look at mercury and what he was doing to customize it.

From the standpoint of being less developer savvy, I think poka wins hands down.

For those that do a lot of their own customization, I think either one will work, but still I lean a little more toward the poka theme for myself and what I have seen.

I think with either one, beyond needing something like custom fields, I think the main customization's will be done with css.

I am not sure how readily available support is with mercury developers, but poka support seems pretty responsive to questions, and they offer a GPWA discount.

I'm using Mercury and pretty happy with it. It's a bit confusing at first, but once you get used to the different plugins it's really easy to adjust it.

Yes, the theme looks really good but I didn't use it personally. But I read before that it has lots of difficulties so I may recommend you to search for more options.

not a promotion, but I would recommend to look at the Poka Review Themes or Plugin. Looks super cool, and with few easy tricks I got 96/100 from the Page Speed Insights from Google

As far as I remember, they have even a thread here with a good discount for their products

I highly recommend using Mercury theme, its super super super fast BEFORE any optimization even! We tried on one of our sites and got shocked by the speed, minimum 97% on googles own speed checks and always A grade on other checkers. Highly recommended. But we have tried on a small site, only about 20 landing pages, but i dont think will be problem for bigger sites. Why its that fast is simply because there is no ''real'' pagebuilder, its more or less completely manual theme.

This is a great indicator, especially in the era of web core vitals.

    Hi everybody!
To try different themes for wordpress, in my opinion Mercury Theme is the best option today. It is very flexible and customizable, the code is light and can be adapted to your needs. the and you can optimize the website to the maximum (see image).

There are several themes that will work if you take the time to do the boring work of optimizing.
