    Default Microsoft reveals Windows 10

So, yesterday Microsoft held its conference about the new operating system and it turns out it won't be called Windows 9 but Windows 10 (there's already a ton of 7 8 9 jokes on the net)!

Here's the introduction video they released:

And you can read and check out some screenshots here:

What are your thoughts on the system? Do you plan on updating? What is the current system you are using? Apparently rumours are saying that people that bought 8/8.1 will receive a free update to 10, while those who have 7 and OEM 8/8.1 will be able to upgrade for around $30. Windows 10 is slated for release in late 2015.

I'm currently still on Windows 7 and while I don't really feel like the system is missing anything I might just upgrade to 8.1 now.

The thing I hated about looking at windows 8 was the apps all over the screen. I like that the start menu is back.

One of the reasons I never upgraded to Windows 8 was because of that horrid desktop app screen.. *shudder*

I haven't messed with the Beta yet, but likely will soon.

I'm looking forward to seeing a start menu on my computer again.

Thank you for sharing this preview!

I am always multitasking, so the new task button and the option to add a desktop sound cool to me.

Looks pretty good and an improvement going forward. Quite looking forward to trying it out.

Hopefully Microsoft will make enough money from it for that guy to get a proper haircut!

I like how he says "this is back" "that is back" meaning 2 versions before they tagged everything as "useless" and now return everything that was "useless".

Those from silicon valley that made a lot of money send their kids to private schools that do not have desktops nor mobile devices cuz their kids must learn to be creative and become smarter than those that are addicted to social networks and are online 247365.
