Default Mobile Affiliates - Creative ... give me your input

Hi all, just thought I'd drop the question out there. We're building up for our mobile offer and having done a fair amount of research on banner standards for mobile I wanted to also ask you, the guys and girls who will be using them.

    Q. What sizes do you use for smart phones iOS and Android?

We've got a bunch for tablets as these are less restricted due to the available space but mobile seems to be particularly difficult with such small sizes.

    Q. Do you prefer to use text links over images for smart phones?

Any other comments would be welcome that relate to mobile creative. This is the time to ask.

    Thanks in advance.

Width of 200 for truly mobile ready websites - static images, as opposed to flashing banners.

    Q. Do you prefer to use text links over images for smart phones?

I always prefer text links / buttons to banners and especially so with mobile specific content.

I prefer text links and I also use 468X60. I just checked one of my sites on my windows phone and it fits well.

I am not sure about the android.

Thanks, we figured that most mobile/smart phone affiliate would use plain text links or the odd graphic for a button. With the larger space being available with tablets we're going for various sizes of banners.

With that being said, there will be smaller banners on offer, plus the other banners that will fit that are already available. Should things change we can and will add to the offering.
