Mobile Commissions

OK so I just got an email from Totesport saying about thier offer change to a £25 free bet. All well and good, but they also had this on mobile commissions:

Totepool.com now pay mobile commission
What's more, all affiliates will earn commission on any bets placed via the totepool mobile site and app. While we do not track mobile registrations, we are now able to provide visibility and data for the mobile product and want our affiliates to not only see what their players are contributing to revenue, but also to receive commissions until we are able to track mobile acquisition.
Commission rates will be the same as your existing sportsbook agreement, and you will earn on any players you have already referred. There is no need to update your existing tracking links.


Over 50% of my website traffic is mobile traffic, but they only just got mobile tracking half-working? I wondered why I got so much less signups per click at Totesport than Betfred. So I guess what this leads to is: which other companies don't yet have proper mobile tracking and don't yet pay mobile commissions?

I can guess a couple that are looking a little suspect on this front.

I HOPE they mean that they do not track (and report to affiliates) how many "current" customers utilize the mobile app and not "we had no way of tracking this and thus, you did not get credit until now".

Does this say that prior to this announcement, mobile revenue was not tracked AND not paid - or just not reported?
