Default Why there is little player value and your earnings do not grow

Okay you are doing well in this industry and do not care much of how things in cowboy land are handled but you may want to read this (I know many of you will only lurk and think ok it has has always been this way and I am to lazy to do something about it ).

I have encountered several tricks from programs to avoid paying affiliates but the cleverest of all is the following cross marketing as it has been under the radar too long.

What I am trying to say is that once you have referred a good player you probably are not going to enjoy the revenueshare from this deal for a life time.

Why not ? Because now several programs have more than 1 casino and are have been cross promoting between their brands (the more the merrier !) ........and hoping your player will eventually join another casino and play there.......without having to pay you.

I call this gaming the system with promo vehicles : central places where players are being send by using untagged links in email campaigns. Once at this central place players can choose other casinos to play at.

I am not going to mention programs but you may know them already.

    1. Think about this because this WILL or HAS already affected your earnings!
    2. What is the point of referring players as these are being hijacked anyway ?
    3. I think it is doable to send emails per brand not per group.
    4. Your thoughts please!

BTW I have not seen an audit for this at GPWA, frankly lately I have not seen any audit.

This is nothing new and it is something that has been discussed here many many times at the GPWA over the years.

Not all groups do this and the best way to combat those that do is send the lionshare of your traffic and players to the groups that give the affiliate credit for any cross-marketing that is done.

Attention Program Rep's, if you feel this is handled well by your group, this is a great opportunity to tell everyone here so those that are wondering can know where you stand.

Yes we all know that this happens, and I find it happens to often.
Besides that, I think that some programs keep trying to find new ways to shave affiliates.

    .

I would also like to see some programs to respond here.
