Is my site loading OK?

Hi,
I've been trying to get to the bottom of why I was receiving so few visitors, and one of the things that was highlighted in previous threads was that my site was taking waaaay to long to load. I've made some changes to speed it up, and it works fine for me, but if anyone else could try it and let me know if it's loading OK, I'd appreciate it. As always, any feedback on the site itself will be welcome.

It's a bit slow, but bearable. Faster than it was though, so thats a goood thing!

I agree with the above poster (so hard to refer to you as baldidot). It is a bit slow still but not so slow that I wouldn't wait for it to load as a player

much faster for me through the gammet of browsers, IE8, FF, Safari and Chrome.

It loaded pretty fast on my side (Nederlands). Despite all the banners you've got on your main page.

Thanks everyone, I've done some work reducing the number of links, and making the background image simpler. From the comments, it seems to have done the trick, and now I don't have to move the whole site to a different hosting company, and re-do the whole thing - phew!

I'm from Israel. I have a 50mb dsl line. Your site loads just fine.

The HTML loads fast, but it looks like on the first visit there is a 2-3 second delay on loading the site. If you re running PHP, it looks like the php binary is a bit slow on your server and takes a while to actually generate the HTML. Have a look at switching to FastCGI or something?

I'm also on the majorities comment, it's a little bit slow and I'm curious coz' it's somewhat a plain website. I think you should check the image container and something on the media. But just a recommendation, if you want to check the site load speed of a website, consider using Google Webmaster Tool or your Google Analytics, that may help to check your site speed.
