I have heard many members on this board talk about using narrow keywords when optimizing a website. I just want to know what are narrow keywords and how do you determine when a keyword is narrow?

Although it's obvious, narrow is the opposite of broad.
So, while a phrase like "slots" or "online slots" is targeting a broad spectrum of players, you can "narrow" (there's that word again) your focus by putting together a site about NETeller bonuses and then targeting a phrase like "neteller slots casinos".
Now that is seriously specific. You can take the middle ground though where the options are fewer and the audience still large. An example would be No Download Slots. Here you are still targeting a load of players but you are focussing on those who do NOT want to download the software.
I hope that helped.
Have a wonderful day
