Default Need a bit of help

    Hello GPWA friends,

As many of you may or may not know, I left EP several months ago to return home to Canada. I am now working at an up and coming "daily deal" site similar to Groupon and Living Social.

Of course, I am coming into the job with my affiliate manager glasses on and I noticed that their affiliate program can use alot of work... hello opportunity! I've now been asked to formulate a plan on how to expand our affiliate program.

I'm wondering if any of you know of any great forums that are dedicated to Daily Deal affiliates. Basically I'm looking for the GPWA equivalent if such an animal exists.

Wishing you all well, and thanking you all in advance for your much appreciated input.

    All the best,

    Mark

    So Mark,

Are you still with EP as your sig shows or not?

Are you currently working in a capacity as a manager with a Sponsor Program?

www.affiliates4u.com is a massive Uk forum, and will have a lot of shopping stuff on there.

    Hi Rick,

No longer working with EP in any capacity. I'm working at a "daily deal" site with what I can see has an affiliate program that hasn't been given much TLC. I was brought in for sales, however once I pointed out some ideas I had for their affiliate program, they immediately became interested in my experience in that field and have asked me to put together a plan.

Naturally, I would love to build an honest, reputable and dependable aff program for this niche, but I am afraid without consulting affiliates at first, I will be in way over my head. That is what led me here. I wanted to know if any affiliates or affiliate programs out there know of any forums like the GPWA exist for daily deal sites, or if I should head in more of a general direction, and if that is the case, where should I go.

    Thanks for your help.

As well as the forum TheBoyMitchell mentioned, www.abestweb.com is still the clear leader for USA based (non gambling) affiliates. Also, Mark, you might like to PM me about what you're offering as I'm likely to be consulting on a 'monetize my damn site' basis with a major Canadian/USA site where Groupon type offers would work well. They either have 1m page views or 1m uniques per month but until I speak with them tomorrow, I don't know which.

I used to visit ABW and thought it was very good. Over the last couple of years or so, not as much because I didn't feel the need. The following article doesn't portray it in a good way now. Quick disclaimer, I haven't read any other articles on this so can't verify if it's a widespread opinion.
