Default Need help reviewing my 9 months old site casinogodis.se

    Hi,

I´m new here on this nice forum and I have seen other people had their site reviwed here by some more experienced.

Would be glad to hear some comments about my site casinogodis.se wich been up and running for the past 9 months.

The site is in swedish but I think you guys who dont speak swedish get the picture anyways.

    Looking forward to some reviews.

    Once again great forum!

The Site is very Colorful I like that its unique has some character about it . I like how you've made the Top Casinos stand out and have very Clear call to actions . You Need more content for sure as well as some casino reviews especially for the casinos your recommending highly but overall I like it different form the norm so well done .

Nice site, really great home page and a lovely long bonus list page for those that just want to see every offer but not too much in your face.

To be honest it looks professional like an operators site, but when I first landed on it, for a split second, it did look like a bingo site though.

Thank you for the feedback, glad to hear that it looks professional.

May I ask was it the background with the bubbles or the whole Picture that made you feel like it was a bingo site?

The bubbles are certainly part of it as at first glance they do look like bingo balls. The colours are typical bingo colours, light blues, pinks and purples.

Don't worry too much though. After a second or so you quickly see its not a bingo site and your site is quality enough that people will see past that.

Yeah I agree with Mattbar - it does look a bit bingoesque. Just swap the pink in the menu for red and change the background to something more casino like in nature.

Something like this may work well with your style/colours: http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-2736...s-falling.html

Very nice site that really stands out. The color scheme looks a lot like Vera & John casino with the pink and blue. It seems to work well for them.

You will need a lot more good content to start ranking well, but you have a nice site with a lot of potential. Are you getting some traffic already?

One thing that bugs me: on the Recensioner page (I guess this would be the casino reviews page) it says: coming soon (I think). I would take away this page until you actually have some decent reviews on there. Now it looks a bit amateurish. Just start with at least 2 reviews and build it up from there.

Also, I am also not a fan of the scrolling sidebar, but that is just my personal preference.

    Good luck!

Thank you so much for the review wolfie!

You are totalty right about the "Vera&John" feel about the design.
Hounestly thats not done on purpose but might have been in the underconsion.

The content is something that I know I'm gonna need a lot of and that is my prioity atm. The same goes for the "recensioner" part.
I totaly get your point there, nothing more to sad then to see that "under contruction" text.

As for traffic it's growing day by day so I'm positive about the future.

Please feel free to comment on the site if you think of something else or if someone else has any pointers.

Of topic, I need to mention again that this is a great forum with lots of threads with good advice and ofcourse great people and knowledge!

Awesome site, and I, for one, like the look of it as well, tho a bit extraordinary (but I don't know if Swedish people are into this design or not, so...). One note: the list on the Bonuslista page seems to be a bit too long for me, I would have loved something like a sorting system or a filter.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

We are currently looking in to some sort of filter system on the site.
But it's a bit tricky since the site is quite narrow and to get that working in the mobile responsive part is not that easy with all that values that we want. But we are working on that and you definetly got a point there.
