Default Net+ Card Drop more Countries.

I've received an email stating that Net+ are dropping my country (New Zealand) from their support as of 25th November.
I've also had it confirmed that they are dropping Australia on the same date too.

So I'm going through the process of making a withdrawal now.

Has anyone else received an email from Net+ about terminating cards from OTHER countries?
I'm keen to get a list together of dropped countries.

I also received the same email, but of course I am in New Zealand too.
This is a huge blow as I use the Net+ card daily.
I wonder what prompted them to take such measures?!

I'm interested in knowing whether it means the cards are deactivated altogether or whether they can still be used online or in other countries (and whether the virtual card numbers are affected). Their announcement was unhelpfully lacking in details like that.

I've received no such email, but a friend of mine who is also from Serbia just signed up with Neteller, but she was told Net+ card is no longer available to Serbian residents.

My Net+ card still works, but I guess it is just a matter of time before they cancel it.

I did not get the mail.
I do not see anything on the site, for the countries having access to the Net+.

    What makes you say that?
The email was pretty clear it was country wide ...
We regret to inform you that as of 25 November 2016, we will no longer offer the Net+ Prepaid MasterCard® service in your country.

I got the email and I'm located in the Caribbean.

Without the card Neteller is completely useless as I cannot withdraw the cash to my bank account as it will flag my bank account as gambling.

I'm currently on a one week spending spree.

    Useful link - thanks!

So basically cards are only available to countries the support SEPA transactions. These are :

Austria Belgium Germany Greece Ireland Spain Italy
Cyprus Latvia Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands Portugal
Slovakia Slovenia Finland France Estonia Bulgaria Great Britain
Hungary Denmark Poland Romania Croatia Czech Republic Sweden
    Iceland Liechtenstein Monaco Norway Switzerland

I would love to know the logic behind this, and whether it was a Neteller decision or a Mastercard decision.

I think Neteller will take a huge knock over this as many people use them for the convenience of the card only, as there is no other benefits as they take over a week to pay to a Bank account, so its probably quicker to get the casinos to do wire transfers!

    Agreed TopBoss ...

Netellers excessive charges and conversion rate meant they "clipped the ticket" too much to be used as a bank wire intermediary, so the card was the only way we used funds on deposit there. They are hardly a useful internet payment system like Paypal.

As others have stated we are planning to withdraw via ATMs this week - and then do a handful of bank transfers to takew the balance to zero and then close the Neteller Account.

Well done Neteller - great way to reduce your business !!

PaySafe must be so happy with their new subsidary.

    Totally agree with you Gooner.

Some of the Business decisions these Corporates make astound me.

Neteller will be able to write a book on how to take your Business to Zero with one simple email.

I got this letter too yesterday. (Thailand) I'm gutted, as I use this card for renewals, hosting, and every time I go to Macau or Vegas, so I don't have to covert Euros to Baht, and then to Dollars.

No. Bank account must = your country citizenship. You may withdraw money from Neteller to Skrill.

Neteller > Skrill > Foreign Bank account. But this costs more %.

Its not a good rate at the moment, but if your using an ATM, look for TMB, they have a higher withdrawal limit of 30k.

I guess it will be more like a country of residence.
