more and more sites of different type are banned from more and more countries. This is a very sad thing.

With as low as 7.95 Euro (Starter Pack – 60% Discount) you can go through with a VPN connection and have no restrictions, no censorship in the internet anymore.

I am using TUVPN (http://www.tuvpn.com/en/home) since years and are very happy with it. Of course, there are many other VPN providers, but this one offers fast speed, no disconnections, and it's easy to use.

Many (online) Pokers players loves to play Backgammon. Gus Hansen was a world class Backgammon player before the changed to Poker 1997.

I have a backgammon site I hardly ever do anything with so I would consider joing Star Games to give them a go.

Being in the US, can I create a player account to play for free?

This would help writing reviews etc, plus I wouldn't mind logging in on occassion to lose....I mean play a game or two....ok I said it right the first time...lol

    Hello the G Man,

i don't know exactly how the forced proxy works, installed by the Turkey government, but every censored state-operated connection can be bypassed.

A VPN connection is the solution, that you can visit sites that you normally can't visit because your country is blocked. With a VPN connection you have a dedicated IP adress, that is NOT YOUR IP adress. You can surf REALLY anonymouse, because all websites, you are visiting, perceive an ip-adress, hundreds of people worldwide are using at the same time, and nothing will be logged (if you have the right oine).

If there exist a forced proxy from the government like e.g. China, Iran, Italy or your country, then you maybe need to make some more changes, but it's easy.

    Print out this document: http://www.zensur.freerk.com/

    The most important point:

    4.2 Using a non censoring DNS-server

Normally, you would automatically would use the DNS-server of your ISP to resolve domain names like www.freerk.com to 62.141.48.209. Internally, only these IP-addresses are used to send/receive data on the Internet. If your DNS-server is censoring, you simply can use another DNS-server. Under Windows, just right-click in your system panel on the 'network' icon and select properties of the TCP/IP-protocol. In Linux you have to edit the '/etc/resolv.conf' file. Use the server that is (virtual) your nearest. If you want to setup your own DNS-server use Bind (http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/). The list of the 13 official root servers is located here: ftp://ftp.rs.internic.net/domain/named.root For redundancy, it would be good to ad the alternative root servers located in Europe from ORSN: ftp://ftp.orsn.org/orsn/orsn.hint.

    Non censoring DNS-Servers:

    dns2.de.net - 194.246.96.49 (Frankfurt, Germany)
    ns1.de.eu.orsn.net - 217.146.139.5 (Hildesheim, Germany)
    resolver.netteam.de - 193.155.207.61 (Alfter-Impekoven, Germany)
    sunic.sunet.se - 192.36.125.2 (Stockholm, Sweden)
    master.ns.dns.be - 193.109.126.140 (Leuven, Belgium)
    ns1.lu.eu.orsn.net - 195.206.104.98 (Belvaux, Luxembourg)
    merapi.switch.ch - 130.59.211.10 (Zurich, Switzerland)
    prades.cesca.es - 192.94.163.152 (Barcelona, Spain)
    michael.vatican.va - 212.77.0.2 (Vatican City, Italy)
    dns.inria.fr - 193.51.208.13 (Nice, France)
    ns0.ja.net - 128.86.1.20 (London, UK)
    nic.aix.gr - 195.130.89.210 (Athens, Greece)
    ns.ati.tn - 193.95.66.10 (Tunis, Tunisia)
    ns1.relcom.ru - 193.125.152.3 (Moscow, Russia)
    trantor.umd.edu - 128.8.10.14 (College Park, MD, USA)
    ns1.berkeley.edu - 128.32.136.9 (Berkeley, CA, USA)
    merle.cira.ca - 64.26.149.98 (Ottawa, Canada)
    ns2.dns.br - 200.19.119.99 (Sao Paulo, Brasil)
    ns2.gisc.cl - 200.10.237.14 (Santiago, Chile)
    ns.uvg.edu.gt - 168.234.68.2 (Guatemala, Guatemala)
    ns1.retina.ar - 200.10.202.3 (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
    ns.unam.mx - 132.248.253.1 (Mexico City, Mexico)
    ns.wide.ad.jp - 203.178.136.63 (Osaka, Japan)
    ns.twnic.net - 192.83.166.11 (Taipei, Taiwan)
    ns3.dns.net.nz - 203.97.8.250 (Wellington, New Zealand)
    box2.aunic.net - 203.202.150.20 (Melbourne, Australia)

It's also possible to act as a manual DNS server by yourself. Just use the ping or traceroute service on a non censoring machine to get the IP of your desired server. Then use the IP instead of the URL in your browser. You will always get an IP, but it won't work every time to access the website via the IP, because a lot of webhosters host up to 500 or more websites on one server with one IP. But it will work fine with bigger websites.

http://195.193.168.164/ - Rotterdam, Netherlands (JAVA VISUALROUTE)

https://www.velia.net/tools/traceroute.php - Hanau, Germany (HTTPS encrypted)

If you need further help, don't hesitate to sent me a PM.

Today we have parliamentary elections (for the Bundestag) in Germany, and we can choose from 34 different parties. 5 parties are represented in the parliament in the moment, because every party needs at least 5% of all votes to enter the Reichstag building.

After two German regimes in the past, where people was jailed or killed only for their thoughts and nobody have had the right to vote free (German Reich (1933-1945) and in GDR (1961 - 1989) -East German- times), it's important to remind, HOW important it is to vote.

Censorship is the 1st step to dictatorship.

Everybody, who wants to play Backgammon at StarGames or wants to see the rugby World Cup, have the right to do it. This is my opinion.

    ---

And to come back to the topic: If a webmaster have a poker site or a website with other games of skill (e.g. chess), he should give these Backgammon games from StarGames a try.

I am not good in Backgammon and can remember in true colors how cheerfully my buddy was, when he invited me to a game. It brought a wry smile to my face, and i was glad when it was finally over.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if I can send you any further information.

    Have a lovely Sunday.

    Kind regards,

The problem with VPN's sometimes is that they are often NOT used for good purposes.

Also, I would say that one should excercise extreme caution using them if you have to install "software" in order to use them. Pretty easy for unscruplous vendors to insert a back door into the software.

There are a fairly long list of other things that "could" during the use of them so be sure to vet any company or site offering them before giving any of them the keys to the house.

Also, I am not so sure how the operators feel about the use of them either, since the main resons one might consider using one s to circumvent an ip block or some other form or authentication they may not want skipped.

"PERFECT PRIVACY" and "TUVPN" are well know in Germany since many, many years, doubled checked by "special" German groups and it's a fair chance for freedom and a tool against censorship.

The G Man, you can purchase at both services 100% anonymous with Paysafecard.
    Paysafecard is like Ukash.

I saw, that Paysafecard is available now in Turkey too. Like in all other countries, where Paysafecard is available, i don't think you need an ID card to buy it.

Here you can find places in your city to buy Paysafecard (Shops, petrol stations ...):

Enter your city into the search field ...

    In Turkish: https://www.paysafecard.com/tr-tr/sa...satis-noktasi/

    In English: https://www.paysafecard.com/tr-tr/sa...satis-noktasi/

If you have a problem with purchasing a Paysafecard, because you are living in a very small city, then i can buy one for you and sent you the code via PM. You can sent me the equivalent with Paypal. This is legal, because everybody can buy, share or give away as many Paysafecard as he want.

Most online casinos with foresight have Paysafecard for European customers as a purchase method.

In German Ebay there are many sellers who want to make a profit in selling Paysafecard. Outrageous!

And in final read this (and maybe some other articles): http://vpncreative.net/how-to-bypass...ship-in-china/
