Over the past week or so I have noticed several affiliate programs demanding that I put #ad next to anywhere that I promote them. Is this a new ridiculous rule of the UKGC?

The programs that are demanding this at the moment are of very little interest to me and I certainly will not be wasting my time editing all my websites for them. However it could become rather irritating if all affiliate programs start to demand this.
