Hello, I am a web developer and have a good domain name to start a sports betting site.
I know the federal government says its ok to do sports betting in the USA. However, does this include such via online sports betting websites? Also, is it wise to have server offshore until I found out what my state will be doing as far as law?

There are certain restrictions throughout the world, be it IP address restrictions, sports restrictions and such. These IP address restrictions will include specific online sports betting websites and a lot of other gambling related websites, too.

I don't think it really matters where you have your server situated. It's the actual laws that make the difference.
