Default New Jersey announces new affiliate rules/regs

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has announced new rules for online gambling affiliates.

The notice, authored by DGE Director David L. Rebuck, details the policy addressing the approved affiliate marketing models including Sponsorship Deals, Cost Per Click (CPC), Cost Per Impression (CPM), Cost Per View (CPV), Cost Per Action (CPA), Revenue Sharing and a Hybrid CPA/Rev Share deals.
The meat of the news is that any affiliate who receives payment in CPC, CPM, etc., will only need to file as a Vendor Registrant, while affiliates who are paid via CPA in excess of $2,500 a year will need to obtain an Ancillary Casino Service Industry Enterprise license.

    Thanks for posting this!

Just want to clarify - Vendor Registrants can now work on Flat Fee, CPC, CPM, and/or CPA deals. The $2,500 a year limit is in regards to "Refer-A-Friend" referral deals for users.

Affiliates who have registered as a vendor are now free to work on CPA deals that are based on sign-ups, deposits, downloads, or betting volume - the only restriction is when the CPA has a percentage-based element, or is part of a hybrid deal with a revenue share.

If anyone has any questions about getting registered as a vendor, feel free to reach out to me: emily @ incomeaccess.com

    Cheers,
    Emily
