New Jersey extends self-exclusion ban to online games
Gamblers can tell Atlantic City casinos that they do not wish to be allowed to gamble and join a "self-exclusion" list, and casinos are supposed to bar entry to players on that list. This is common practice in many gaming jurisdictions, and many online gaming companies have followed suit.
And when online gambling operators in New Jersey will have to follow the same procedures online as in their brick and mortar properties. In fact, people already on the exclusion list for land-based properties will automatically be added to the online list. People can also sign up to be banned only from online gambling.
