New Jersey online gambling bill could be "on" again
The on again, off again New Jersey online gaming bill, which would allow all forms of online gambling -- not just poker, looks like it's back on again (sort of). A committee in the New Jersey Assembly just approved an amended version of the bill. The bill's chief sponsor is predicting a vote by the full Assembly on Dec. 17 and the full Senate on Dec. 20. If it passes both votes -- which it did the last time both bodies voted on it -- it will be up to the governor to approve it or veto it. Gov. Chris Christie vetoed it the last time. It's not known what he'll do this time.
