new site
Hi all,
Well,I finally launched my new site which is my first gambling portal and took forever to create. I only have one other site (www.hawkheadhaven.com) on a totally different subject.
I decided to go off the beaten track and can only hope that visitors will like it. The URL is http://www.gamesandcasino.com
I am really excited and worried at the same time. I could use feedback - although it is too late to change the format now. I could also use marketing tips...
Thanks, and it's nice to find this board. :-?

Hi Dominique,
I like the layout of your site very much! Your colors and navigation are very good, too.
But,you would probably do better at sales to show all your casinos on 1 page, your bingo on another, etc, along with info and promotional stuffs. I'm thinking you may lose a lot of business with the way you have it laid out there.
Also,on your 'Links' page - Links pages are normally reserved for links to other portals and websites, not your affiliate programs. Cross-linking to other portals that are similar to yours is critical to Search Engine placement.
For some ideas on all this - take a tour of many of our portals, and you'll get see what I'm talking about. We have some wildly successful member portals here. http://www.gamblingsafari.com/exit/v...erjunkie.shtml
Good Luck!!

gambling safari
Hi,
thanks for taking the time to look it over.
The gambling safari is a wonderful idea - is it yours?
I am just starting to get some real traffic,so we'll see what gives. I am sure there will be many changes and additions as time goes. Websites tend to take on a life of their own it seems.
And thanks for all the votes, too! I like polls - they let people say it like they see it.

opt in list
Well,I knew I'd be back with more questions.
I have an opt in,voluntary box for people to leave their email addresses. I am getting quite a few of them in a short time, and I am quite surprised.
Does anyone know what normal percentage of visitors leave their addresses?
