What do you think of the occupy movement? Will it really snowball like it looks like it's going to?

IMO I'm for it.

Yeah, wipe out loans, laws and currency. Lets all get the same loaf of bread wether we go to work or not. I can use a perminant vacation, go occupy!

I think it will last until the first snowball flies. Then It will be occupy Florida or California.

I would like to see them occupy where I live in the middle of January. Then we'll see how into it they really are!

They interviewed someone this morning on CNBC from occupy London. His reason for being there camped out protesting is because "I have nothing else to do today".

I thought it started out being about bringing criminal charges against the wall street firms who purposefully and knowingly built a real estate bubble they knew would burst and pawned it off on others and caused countless people to be homeless and lose their retirements. It was also starting out to be against lobbying, which is just outright purchase of politician's votes. It made sense.

But I guess it isn't about that anymore.

I knew when the tea party emerged that something would naturally happen on the liberal side to add balance, and I thought this would evolve into that. But I think it's missed the mark and turned into a platform that is entirely too splintered and has too many weird extremists.

It's kinda sad, I think it had so much potential, the door is wide open for a liberal opposition to form.

They need to move to washington. And they need a goal as they seem to just want to hang out and ask for stupid things like no debt for school loans lol.

Yeah but what is the movement trying to accomplish? If its reduced goverment im in as well, but everything I hear is removing responsibility from the individual and massive goverment spending. Who is going to pay for all the demands? These people need a job, and we need to make a lot of big time changes to get jobs started again in the world.

Flash mobs get more people attending events then these guys. Changes need to happen at a regulation level, if banks are operating within the law.. they will go to the limit - if its morally questionable, doesn't mean its illegal. Regulation level.
