Awww the cat one is so sad.
Stupid idiots should have thought about any predators around before releasing it.
Plus the squirrel should not have been THAT comfortable around humans or constantly being touched/stroked by a human as it was in the vid, they obviously treated it like a pet and overhandled it so it was de-sensitized.
I've worked in a wildlife rehab centre, we never stroked the animals, bare minimum handling so then when they got released they tended to shoot off quickly as they were still scared of humans. But to be fair it was also in a forest and there were no cats around, that's just stupid!!

I like cats as an animal, I think they're pretty cool and a great predator.
As pets, hmmm, not so much. They basically decimate local wildlife, especially small bird populations.
I'm one of those nutters who you'll see running out in my garden in summer scaring off a cat as it hangs around the bushes trying to kill birds.
I even have an old super soaker water gun for the task. They tend not to come near now.

I feel you bro. i like cats a lot but i also cant stand for when they kill small defenseless animals.

Poor squirrel ... my area is full of them and as much as a nuisance and destructive as they can be they are cute little things. I agree with some other comments, I don't dislike cats but they are predators going after local wildlife when roaming the area.
