Another useful show.

Interesting to hear about the US situation in New York and California - anything that is the opposite of Adelsen's wishes has to be good.
But did I read a $10 MILLION cost for the license plus 15% tax in the New York proposal ?
WOW - nice if you can get it.

I'm not sure where poker and poker marketing is heading, with Carbon Poker's statement also stating that they are going to continue the operations it is just the affiliate model that they are discontinuing. Certainly with 30-40% net average being paid the affiliate cut would be a large share of the pie - and operations would be a lot more profitable without it.

So what's the future? Simple media buys? It will be interesting to see how that evolves.

I have been wondering about the future and how affiliates fit into it as well. Part of me is concerned every time I see another program fold their webmaster program. Then, another part of me remembers that affiliate marketing works... which is why it's been around for so long. So, as programs like carbon make a "business decision" to discontinue the program, other programs will be happy to step up and utilize skilled webmasters to build their brands. At least, I hope that's the case
