Default Lucky18 Not Paying Affiliate... Marked as Rogue

I have been owed money from Lucky18 affiliate program for two months now. I have tried to contact them at least a dozen times through their support@ and payments@ email address and have received no response. I have told them that if I do not hear back from them I will go to the GPWA forums and post this issue and I still have not heard back from them.

I know another member of this forum had a problem with a large sum of money, this is a relatively smaller sum of money that that which is owed, but that should be irrelevant. I hate this not only because it's now considered a rogue program in my book and it puts another dark cloud on the industry (especially the US facing side of the industry), but also because now I have to go through every site I have and take them down (a huge task).

The sad part is that they worked so hard in negotiating with us to get them listed on our sites, and we hesitantly put them up, and now our instincts have been proven right.

They can pay us what is owed, they can try to fix this issue, or they can ignore us, but either way we will never promote this brand again.

    Sorry to see this Andre.

    I didn't use them. I was waiting to see. Now I'm glad I didn't.

    I hope Lucky18 responds here!

    Thank you for the warning.

Based on past posts that have been made here, and the lack of communication except when L18 is attempting to defend themselves, I am very happy to report that I removed all traces of them last fall.

When they 1st opened up, it looked like a great program, I had some long telephone conversations with them and had an outstanding relationship with management there. Then for some reason all went to hell in a hand basket. The affiliate manager I met with in Barcelona was removed, no further contact was made and then the issues starting rearing their heads in posts of people not getting paid as they should.

I am embarrassed to say that I once promoted them as an affiliate and a master affiliate. Well, it's all water under the bridge. Onward and upward!

You would give free exposure to a late paying program? Interesting.

Default Tell it as it is

call it free exposure, but don't affiliates need to know that a program was late and paid late? they can then decide for themselves what they want to do. but they should know what it is that happened.
    or am i wrong..

Sure, if a program pays late, affiliates will find that information useful. My concern was that Lucky 18 would be painted as this great program that "came through for their affiliates," while the programs that pay early and on time (as seen in this thread at Affiliate Guard Dog) wouldn't get any mention at all.

I may have been confused about what you meant before -- apologies if I misunderstood.

We have never worked with them and was beginning to think about it until this happened. To me when affiliate programs pay late it shows some weakness in their operations .Maybe not a cash flow all the time but obviously some processing issues that we don't want to get caught up with.

    I have to agree!

To bad other "bigger" companies didn't do the right thing immediately after getting published to the public. I'm owed a large figure from Bodog a New GPWA Sponsor and will keep everyone updated on the status and how long they stretch it out before they the right thing and pay up.. I have pondered the fact I should be owed 10% interest for the past 2 years.

Just wanted to let those interested know that I was paid and I was called. I was apologized to profusely and have accepted, however I am keeping Lucky18 off my sites as a probation period. If they pay with no hassles for the next two months I will put them back into our rotation.

Thanks to the GPWA forums for providing a forum to reach affiliate managers when needed, although this took waaaaaay too long for them to respond, which is why they will remain on the probation period for a while.
