They also have one of the worst cookies and worst conversion rates in the industry, so combine that with how they behave later and you just have one TERRIBLE affiliate program from start to finish.

    Hi guys,

Thank you all for your posts/comments.
I will reply generally and try cover everything mentioned on this thread.

If one issue or another is not covered in my reply, feel free to contact me directly at: nadav.linden@williamhill.com

    1. We were not banned or kicked out of the GPWA forum.
Our sponsorship contract came to an end, and we chose to not renew it, hence our membership being cancelled.
We believe that our partners, potential and existing, have all communication channels open and can contact us at any time without having to go through the forum.

    2. The 5% rule has been a part of our T&Cs since the move to Netrefer back in December 2014, and was there before that too, just phrased a bit different.
I do understand how it looks to affiliates, but this clause was put there in order to protect us, as despite WH being a big company we do need protection in certain cases.
The way the rule works is not automatic, and we do inform affs before lowering their %.
They can then get in touch with their AM and we will not make any change to their %. A few of the affs who were very active on this thread can testify to that.

    3. I have said that a few times before, and will say it again, William Hill, a public company, that has made £155m profit in H1 of 2015 did not build itself on scamming affiliates nor does it need to scam anyone in order to survive.

    4. If any of you has any issues, I would recommend contacting your AM rather than just posting here on the forum.

Again, feel free to contact me if you have any open issues.

    Thanks,
    Nadav Linden

Now I would disagree that William Hill has the worst percentages in the Industry and in fact I will even go as far as saying that it is not even the worst compared to other playtech's (in fact I have seen other playtech's that many affiliates rate as the best perform very poorly side by side with Affiliates United brands)

But since many MANY of us were around since the old Casino Pays days, the 5% was thrown on us after the fact, so if you want to compare apples, make sure you are indeed comparing them to other apples.

Utilizing these terms is the best way to gain a negative in the higher percentages 36% to 40% and then pay it back at 5%.

The mistake I made was sticking around after the buyout.

    - Dormant account rules which will decrease your RS to 5%
    - Bad conversion rate
    - A company located in Israel (Playtech powered)

These factors together taken lead me to the conclusion not to promote them, even if in the past we have had fruitful cooperation with them.

UK bookmaker William Hill has reported a fall in half-year profits after being hit by changes to betting taxes.
Pre-tax profits fell to £78.7m in the first six months of the year, down 35% from £121.8m a year earlier.

From what do I recognize this 35%.... yes thats true, my revenue share dropped from 40% to 5% because you don't like to pay 10.000 euro per month, for 10 new first depositers

I understand you try to defend your program, that's your work, but it feels like a scam. I know my player value, if I bring 5000 players and you promise 40% revenue share, I expect to earn $4 million, and not what you really pay, not even 50 % of this amount, (less than 20% revenue share in total). If I knew this earlier, I should never promoted your program as big as I did.

Mr Linden come here and say everytime the same bla bla words, why? He is a part of this bandits company, have to say what his boss give him to answer.

fact is you stole with your rules alot of affiliates money, you let affiliates hart work and kick them in his ass. if you talk with your AM to go back to real % get allways same feedback... "give us better rankings, push us, bring us alot of real players...and..and..and" what is this, dictatorship to go back for money where you hard work before. No Mr Affudt, stopp this 5% rule and give back all affiliates his money, this is the only way!!

So long you are a company of bandits we have to warn all other affiliates never promote a affiliate program like yours!

Always the same things with this sort of clowns. We are WH (or whatever brand), we have good conversions, we are big, we are trustful, etc but you need to give us better rankings, more banners on your website and change your review site into a WH propaganda leaflet so that I can make a printscreen for my boss.

Also William Hill still has stolen money from the Joyland jackpot incident. Where are that millions?

You missed the $2.4 Million Progressive Jackpot Win at 32 Vegas Casino (now 21Nova) , but it was in the cpays times in 2008, and same things happened.

In the past I caught William Hill with untag double players, for example: if you have the same person playing in eurogrand and william hill casino, they untag the active one. With netrefer it's more difficult,I don't know, maybe all stats are fair now.

It has nothing to do with fair, only making money, they don't care it's all about profits. I also signed up with promises for lifetime of the player.

I'm a fairly new affiliate and started out promoting William Hill a lot as they were the site that I knew and used as a gambler myself.

I've only managed to get a few sign ups so far but I'm starting to wish I'd chosen a different site to focus on early on after reading more about Aff Utd.

Today I tried to log into my affiliates account and it had been locked. It's since be unlocked but no explanation given, making me very nervous!

nadav - Am I to believe the large weight of negative affiliate testimonials against your company on GPWA and other forums (and my own experiences) or am I to believe the bleatings of a company employee?

Stop promoting seriously, they don't like paying for bad traffic, so if you get "lucky" and a vip player will lose $10,000 or maybe $100,000 they don't want to pay your %

As long as you earn 300$ per new first depositer they will pay you, any more you will get problems.

Think I will promote them as little as possible after my reading on here.

I'll just try to make sure I get at least 1 sign up every few months to stop them cutting my rate to 5% and once I've got that, I'll stop until another few months have gone by.

Oh wow. I just received a response to my question of why the account was locked, my account managers response was "I'm not sure but it sometimes happens" and that's not even paraphrasing.

    Shocking.

I was promoting AFFUTD on all of my sites until yesterday when I found out that my commission had been cut down to 5% because I hadn't brought in a new active player in three months. I have nothing but disgust for these kinds of dirty tricks and to top ot off it being done with no warning to allow me to decide if I want to continue promoting them which I am not stupid enough to do.

They are one of the reasons I do not reply all mails. I was used to reply polite every mail I receive, but this sort of clowns keep on spamming without replying to the point and without even reading (or understanding) your reply.

    Ken,

Be glad you didn't have a negative before the reduction.

Just think of the punch in the gut if you get a negative at 36% and then are expected to pay it back at 5%.
