Question Opinons - City Club Casino!

Alright I am in process of negotiating a eal with this casino for a sponsored ad. Here is my problem. Already terms have been changed and changed again. They don't want to pay upfront half now half later is what they say....also other issues.

My gut is telling me something is wrong and if they do this with affiliates than what's to say that players don't end up on the wrong end of it.

So I am asking for others opinons and experiences on them. Ther have been a few other issues that have raised some flags with me one being that it was all said and said and done than I was told oh well can we do this to, not to mention the AM's boss isnt sure if poker players turn into casino players....that had me a little at odds that shouldn't these people know the gaming market in general.

    Anyway advice is definatly needed.

stay away from this group. they have been playing this game for years. they lost every ounce of my trust by acting this way over and over. they made deals and then said they did not make them. then they made deals and the changed the terms after the deal was made. i will never do business with them again

I agree 100%. I think your instincts were right ( or common sense). They should know the demographics of the casino market, or at least as much or if not more than the average affiliate. They should have a rough idea of the conversions from poker to casino, profit margins, payouts.. etc..

I've seen a start up niche casino offer too high bonuses with super small play through req's , on baccarat of all games. It's like giving free money away to those who knew how to play. they learned pretty quickly though. They had their play through req's 3X within the month.

If I had to quote myself, I'd say "Follow success, not stupidity".

Well what got me was how unprofessional the AM was...trying to renegotiate over and over again.

First she didnt even tell me she was an AM as I was selling the page considerably less to affiliates. Once I realized this was a company I explained to her that the price is different. Anyway they agreed than it went to well my boss now wants us to pay half no half later. Hesittaion again on my part. Finally I thought you know what I am expecting them to trust me I have to put some trust to. So I agreed I sent them the invoice how to pay all the detilas.

She than sayd to me this morning oh well my boss wants a tester done for a month perios,, than we negotiate. I said to her that I thought it was all agreed upon, she said she assumed it was.

*Shouldn't an AM have direct instructions as to approved/not approved.

Than cam the statement oh it's my boss...typical isrealian (I was thinking OMG did she just say that) than came they always change things.

My jaw dropped. So I kindly explianed to her that I had turned dwon a couple offers because I was understanding that the go ahead was you know.

Finally end of the conversation I was so annoyed, pissed off and in shock of all the bullshit run around that I told her it;s my site and I don't have to lease this page, nor do I need to. I don't need their money so if they want advertsiing on MY site than they will now go back to original agreement or nothing.

But teh more I thought was if they are willig to weasel with me what's to say a player who clears a bonus will get it or payouts anything.

    how very sad.

when will people learn?...... its not the race ..... its the person behind the face?

people are people ..... as long as there is a chance even one from such place . .... will do you right.... then you cannot blame the race.

good and bad come in all colors and creeds.

I applaud your offense to what this person said.... and feel you're so right.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

There are a few threads here concerning this group.

If they want to change the stated terms and conditions and provide FAIR terms to EVERYONE, then I would consider promoting them.

But if you read through the existing threads you will see the pattern they have shown, make deals with people then not honor them. They kept claiming they would make deals with everyone that asked, but they were never willing to change their stated terms of service to reflect the "deals" they were always so willing to make with everyone.

If it was an honest deal they were willing to make with everyone, "Put it in the terms!!"

Because of this pattern, if they do in fact ever change their terms, I would take a very guarded approach to them before jumping on board.

Ya I told them I am not going to bother with it today and that maybe her "CEO" should learn a little more about the industry to which he has chosen. Let's just say they were not at all impressed....oh well....I would rather know that players and myself are in the right hands tha to settle for a measly $600
