Have booked in the game for the 5th of December, as soon as i get this confirmed and all the info i will let you know.

It will be a $10 deepstack rebuy with an add on - this should make it friendly and give us a chance to get to know each others game as with this type of tournament structure it could go on quite a while!

What is the site and deposit methods available? Because most of the users on my site are more likely to support something on Tilt or Stars than other sites (given problems in the past with sites like Cardspike, Pitbull, etc)

As Pat said a few posts back the room is BigBet Poker, so hopefully this will not be an issue for you or your users as i notice you are promoting them on Pokernations presently. I do understand what you mean by the problems with pitbull etc recently, however, feel that Big Bet are no more likely to collapse than any of the other rooms.

They are going to give us specially designed tables for the game and i should have all the details within 24 hours.

Sorry for the delay in answering btw, however, have spent hours on end at hospital today with my 7 month old grandson, who is in intensive care with supected viral infection which may or may not be swine flu.

Yes, BigBet put on a freeroll for our members that we're promoting, but I'm not sure how many folks will deposit onto BigBet for this (although ones who win the freeroll may use those funds for it)

I guess most of the folks that use my site currently seem most comfortable using Tilt or Stars where they already have money and history on the site.

But we'll promote it regardless and see what we can accomplish. Just think you'd get more funds raised on one of the major portals is my only concern. And I'd like to do what we can to increase the response and funds raised

I understand where you are coming from Anthony especially regards to your members however as an affiliate who deals with BigBet and Full Tilt the likes of Tilt and Stars have no time for us little people whereas John at BigBet will go out of his way to help this sort of cause.

For anyone concerned I have deposited and withdrawn from BigBet with no issues at all and see them being around for a long while.

I have been asked to post this on behalf of BigBet Poker and in doing so would also like to thank John and his staff for their generosity.

To all involved with this event.

Firstly my staff and I at BigBetPoker would like to pass on our best wishes to Tony and family and we are delighted to be able to host this event.

I’m happy that there is such support from many of the sites and affiliates I am currently working with. As always, the decent people will go above and beyond to help out when friends are in times of need (you know who you are).

We’ll be promoting this on the site and trying to drum up as much action as possible for it and we’re currently working on a special table for the event to give it a little extra.

The event is scheduled to be set up as a $10 + $1 event.
    <table class="ecxMsoNormalTable" style="margin-left: -37.15pt; border-collapse: collapse; border: medium none;" border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tbody><tr> <td style="width: 167.25pt; border: 1pt solid black; padding: 0in 5.4pt;" valign="top" width="223"> Payout Schedule:
    </td> <td style="width: 171pt; border-width: 1pt 1pt 1pt medium; border-style: solid solid solid none; border-color: black black black -moz-use-text-color; padding: 0in 5.4pt;" valign="top" width="228"> 25% payout the rest to Tonys charity
    </td> </tr> </tbody></table>
BigBetPoker will be donating our fee as well as 500,000 BigBetRewards points prizepool shared amongst the top 3 finishers.
    · 1st 300,000 points
    · 2nd 200,000 points
    · 3rd 100,000 points

BigBetRewards points can be redeemed at the rate of $1 per 1000 points.

So not only is the event giving to charity but it’s also worth winning!!!

Should the winners feel inclined to do so, it is also possible to transfer rewards points to another account… ( might I suggest to Tony’s account J)

I hope everyone can come together to generate some really good publicity and an excellent turnout to this event so we can raise as much as possible.

I’ll be there so see you at the tables and once again, we’d like to pass on our thoughts to Tony’s family.

    Cheers,
    John & The BigBetPoker Team

    Ray,

I apologize if you have felt left out of the "thank you's"....was not meant to.....I think your wonderful for coming up with the suggestion and caring about another member here....I will always be grateful and will return the kindness when needed.

You and Paul and Anthony have my utmost respect and deepest thanks for coming together and putting this together for Tony and his wife.....I could just kiss you all.

Lets hope this is an awesome event, and brings lots of players and rewards. I will get this up on my sites and get people signing up and hopefully contributing to the cause.

I would also like to thank John from Big Bet for stepping up and helping a fellow affiliate through this horrible time. I will make sure to always promote your place on my sites and spread the good word about your program and the management. I hope your generousity comes back to you two fold.

cheers everyone and love you all!

    Hey guys.....

Just read some of the posts.. And I would like to help anyway i can...

I do not have an account with Big Bet.... so in essense I want to sign up if it will help Tony and his wife somehow....

I would like to donate $100 to the cause if needed!!!! A while back I helped a member sell their site and they sent me $100 and the idea was i was going to donate to a animal cause...

However instead i would be honored to do this for our member here Tony.

I can either send $100 to Tony directly, or I can send some people here $$ for deposting to the rooms in the amount of $100....

I may be able to also bring in some players....

Please if someone can Pm me or let me know how i can contribute please let me know...

I could even add it to the prize pool if you guys like.

    Steve
